Jodie Comer won over all our hearts playing the psychopathic assassin (and fashion icon) Villanelle in Killing Eve - so it's hardly surprising that she has now revealed some of the dark secrets which happen behind the scenes on the hit BBC Show. Speaking on Late Night with Seth Myers on Wednesday, the star revealed there is a darkly-named “kill wall” on set.
‘Whenever we had an actor who suddenly left us, we would put a big red cross through their face and turn them upside down, and put them on a separate wall,' she confessed. 'We slowly realised the death wall was so much bigger than the remaining cast.’
The Liverpudlian actress also said how she couldn’t keep track of how many people her villainous (see what we did there?!) character had killed. 'it's just hard to keep tabs,' she added. 'And, also, we've literally joined her life so late in the game that I'm like, "Can you imagine all the people prior?”... Too many to mention.’
Hearing all the gossip has only made us more excited for Killing Eve season two to finally premiere in the UK (the US got to see the first episode earlier this week.) It will air over here in June, but a release date is yet to be announced.
In the meanwhile, you can watch a trailer for the second series below.
