Jennifer Aniston is a wildly successful movie star – and she might have just let slip one of the secrets to her success. The actress has revealed that she takes part in ‘goddess circle’ rituals with her A-list friends before big life events.
The Dumplin’ star spoke about the ritual, which she says she has been doing for 30 years, with The New York Times, describing the ritual as women sitting cross-legged on the floor, passing around a charm- and feather-decorated stick and setting their intentions.
According to the profile, Jen’s friends gather for the rituals before their important life events, which have included her weddings to Brad Pitt and Justin Theroux. And, before the Murder Mystery star celebrated her 50th birthday, she gathered her mates to perform the same ritual, telling the publication, 'It's so weird. There's so much doom around that number.''
The 'Goddess Circle' was introduced by mystic C. Ara Campbell and according to The Sun, the ritual is 'dedicated to reclaiming the powerful feminine energy found within and surrounding us all; to embodying and living your truth and your highest purpose. It is dedicated to empowering all beings on the path to sovereignty; to awakening to your medicine and gifts, inspiring creativity, and to moving towards sacred unity in this world.'
Jennifer – who is soon returning to the small screen for Apple’s The Morning Show – told the publication that she is about to embark on a ‘creatively fulfilling period’. ‘I'm entering into what I feel is one of the most creatively fulfilling periods of my life,’ she told the paper. ‘I've been doing this for 30 years and I feel like it's just about to really bloom.’
The 50-year-old added, ‘It's taken time for me to get where I am and I put a lot of work into my craft. I've failed. I've succeeded. I've overcome. I've, you know, I've stayed around. I'm still here.'
