Just when you thought this slow Friday afternoon was never going end, we’re here to hit you with some adorable, amazing news. James Middleton, of Kate Middleton’s brother fame, has made his Instagram account public and given us unprecedented insight into the lives of the Middleton family. That, alongside an abundance of really, really cute images of animals.
Creating his account in 2013, James has kept his Instagram private for the last six years, but today - randomly – he made his account public and gave us access to hundreds of his personal photos, and honestly, his aesthetic is amazing.
From scrolling through his grid, we can assume three things. James is an avid animal-lover, about 90% of his profile contains pictures of him with various adorable animals, from dogs to lambs. Secondly, his numerous travel shots partaking in various extreme sports tell us his gap yah has extended way beyond his 20s. Finally, he too fell victim to the Instagram border trend of 2013.
Honestly, with the puppy selfies, boat-diving candid’s and occasional Miley Cyrus meme, his Instagram is essentially a how-to for every guy on Tinder. And to be honest, we’d swipe right. He has nine dogs and a hipster beard, so naturally, we’re sold. Yes, you read that right, he has nine dogs- who he seems to take on walks with a cane while wearing pink shorts and camel wellies.
Never fear, the shepherd vibe seemed to be experimental, and he scrubbed up a stylish combination of tartan trousers and a velvet suit jacket for the GQ man of the year awards.
But the swooning doesn’t stop there. Not only does he post dashing pictures of himself, but he seems to have all the makings of the perfect Instagram husband. Dogs mid-dive, close-ups of puppies coming in for a cuddle, chicks posing on TOP of dogs, he seems to always capture the perfect, gram-worthy image. The proof however is in one particular image where he has managed to have a bird land in his hand (swoon-worthy alone, no?) but then also have it wait there long-enough to get the perfect Insta shot complete with an idyllic hillside view in the background. What is this sorcery?!
There is one thing clear thing missing from his Instagram though, and it may call into question your crush, he has virtually no pictures of his family. With one image of Pippa back in 2014, Kate is also absent from his feed. No Royal Wedding shots, no uncle selfies with his many nieces and nephews, you would have virtually no idea of his connection to the Royal Family were you to happen upon his feed.
But then, a need for privacy as the younger brother of two very famous women, it's not exactly surprising he would keep his Instagram a royal-free zone. Or maybe he just deleted all of his embarrassing family shots of Kate pre-going public? Who knows, and frankly, when theres so many puppies to scroll through, who needs more?
