Harry Styles has just revealed details of his next album. The singer tweeted the groovy cover artwork on Monday, revealing his next LP will be called Fine Line, and will be released on December 13. So Merry Christmas one and all.
Over the weekend, the musician once again sent Twitter into overdrive after tweeting a cryptic message which fans correctly assumed was a teaser for new music. Sharing a link to a website called‘Do You Know Who You Are’, the portal asks you to input your name before sending you a personalised message.
When you go to the website and input your name a message appears reading: ‘You are patiently waiting for something to happen. TPWK. Love, H.’
According to Paper, this website has been live since 1 October, but was previously sending compliments to fans when they inputted their name. 'TPWK' is a favourite of Harry’s, meaning ‘Treat people with kindness’ – a phrase he has had printed on merchandise that was sold on his debut tour (the proceeds of which went to 62 different charities).
Wanting to hear the new music sooner rather than later? Styles is scheduled to appear on Saturday Night Live and Later…With Jools Holland in the next few weeks. Likely, he’ll be performing new music and sharing details about his upcoming album.
Plus, the last time he did this - simply tweeting 'Do' and sending the internet into a frenzy - it may have been an accidental sleepy tweet but it was still a teaser for his new music.
'Can I be really honest? I was half asleep and I don't remember sending it. I was half asleep, I woke up, was like "Oh I'm going to do a thing for the song coming out"' Styles told Hits Radio Breakfast. 'And then I went back to sleep and when I woke up my manager was like, "what are you doing?!" I was like, "I don't know. I'm sorry’’ So yeah, I don't exactly remember doing it, but it felt harmless.'
