If you’ve ever wished you could have a selfie with Harry Styles, this tale might change your mind.
Hairdresser Amy Whelan was washing a client’s hair when they heard that Harry was shopping in the local Waitrose. Amy told the Daily Mail that ‘My woman client, who is a massive fan, jumped up and wrapped a towel around her head. Then she rushed out of the door to see him. I just followed to see what all the fuss was about.’
Amy ended up getting a selfie with Harry, who she said ‘seemed really nice. He was a real gentleman and just took it all in his stride as a bit of fun’, which she posted on Instagram.
What ensued was nearly 4,000 likes and a hell of a lot of comments from Directioners. Most were telling her how lucky she was/how jealous they were but one, which has since been deleted said, ‘If you don’t tell me where Harry Styles is, I will kill you.’ Wow. It's all fun and games until someone sends you a death threat.
Amy said that she was ‘shocked’ the picture could cause such an uproar and that she ‘only posted it to show friends and I have no idea how fans even found it. Many fans seemed to think I must be Harry Style’s new girlfriend. I had some very odd comments such as one asking what he smelt like!’
In answer: probably like rainbows and butterflies and shooting stars.
