She once told us to steam our vaginas, so we shouldn't really be surprised. Nonetheless, news that Gwyneth Paltrow has added sex toys to her wellness and lifestyle site, Goop, has sent the internet into meltdown mode, namely due to this rather obvious question: are they recommended from experience?
'Sex toys have long since graduated from the floppy rubber things you hide in your bedside table,' she explains on the site, 'to beautiful works of interactive art.'
Interactive art? A dildo? If you say so...
The sex toy shopping guide, which features as part of Goop's 'Sex Issue', includes a £10,000 INEZ dildo – made from 24 carat gold (because, obvs) – a £295 Cat Whip from Agent Provocateur, and a £279 TIANI ring, also in 24 carat gold – 'sharing means caring', the site explains.
Goop's Sex Issue also features articles on 'The Elusive Orgasm', 'Erotic Sensation and Sexual Fullfillment', and whether or not lube is toxic.
Might Gwyneth be about to give E.L. James a run for her money? 'Fifty Shades Of Goop' – we can see it.
