Gwyneth Paltrow & Chris Martin Are ‘Still A Family’

Gwyneth Paltrow

This is the most hopeful we’ve felt about Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin since their ‘concious uncoupling’.

Gwyneth has given a really lovely interview about her ex to SiriusXM in the US, where she thanks Chris’ band Coldplay for their song Everything’s Not Lost, for getting her through the death of her father.

"He wrote this song before I met him, and I think another reason it’s sad for me is my father had just died when this album came out, and we used to listen to it kind of on repeat ... especially this song at the end.

"This album was kind of getting my brother and I through that death."

And while the uncoupling is still on, Paltrow has revealed that her, Chris and the kids (Apple, 11 and Moses, 10) are still a family.

"I think we are better as friends than we were [married]. We are very close and supportive of one another.

"It hasn't always been easy for us because you have good days and bad days as you do in life with anything, but I feel lucky because Chris has been willing to push himself for the sake of the kids and help me co-create this new family.

"It's like we are still a family, but not a couple."

How lovely is that?

Gwyneth is just back from a family holiday with her children in Peru, after watching Chris in action at a gig in Argentina.
