Despite being intensely private about her personal life, Emma Watson’s new boyfriend has been revealed, thanks to some telling paparazzi pictures. She was spotted walking hand-in-hand with former Glee star, Chord Overstreet in Los Angeles on Thursday.
While neither of the two have publically confirmed the relationship, the image is proof enough for fans to assume they’re dating, having previously been suspicious of how close the two had become.
The pair were spotted leaving the Vanity Fair Oscars party at the same time last February (where she also debuted her misspelled ‘Times Up’ temporary tattoo) with the added bonus of Emma wearing an oversized tux jacket over her dress, and Chord suspiciously without his tux jacket. They were also spotted at a Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats concert together earlier this year.
Fans are of course, delighted at the pairing, with many referencing an old interview Chord did with Teen Vogue where he referred to Emma as his ‘dream prom date’ and declared that ‘she’s super cute’. One twitter user seemed astounded at just how 'shipable' the couple are:
Since the pictures have been released, a source has confirmed to PEOPLE that they have been dating for a while. The insider stated:
‘They have been dating for a little bit now, but it’s still pretty new,
‘They met through friends, they might seem like an odd match but they actually have very similar personalities.’

The new relationship comes after Emma split from her tech boyfriend William ‘Mack’ Knight back in November, having dated since early 2016.
Despite the PDA pictures, we doubt we’ll find out much more about Chord and Emma’s coupling, since Emma told Vanity Fair last year:
‘I want to be consistent: I can’t talk about my boyfriend in an interview and then expect people not to take paparazzi pictures of me walking around outside my home. You can’t have it both ways,
She continued: ‘I’ve noticed, in Hollywood, who you’re dating gets tied up into your film promotion and becomes part of the performance and the circus. I would hate anyone that I were with to feel like they were in any way part of a show or an act.’
Alas, we can count on adorable paparazzi pictures to keep up with the romance.
