How time flies... No really, it does. So quickly... Because, can you believe that model Chrissy Teigen's daughter Luna is already a year old?

We can't. It seems only yesterday we were writing about little Luna's debut on her mother's Instagram page before quickly updating with news that her father, singer John Legend, had introduced her to his Instagram account as well.

On Thursday 14th April, Luna turn one and to mark the occasion, Chrissy posted some stunning family portraits to the social media site yesterday – snaps in black and white of her, her husband and their adorable daughter.

'Happy first birthday Lu!!!!' Chrissy captioned the pictures. 'My lovebug. You are all the best parts of the both of us and I cannot believe how much has happened in you [sic] first 12 months of life. We love you to the luna and back.'

Chrissy and John have been married since 2013 before which they dated for almost 10 years. The couple originally met on set of his music video for Stereo in 2007 and soon after began dating, but it wasn't until 2011 that John popped the question. Chrissy announced she was pregnant with their first child in October 2015, and gave birth to Luna – who weighed 6 lbs., 11 oz. when she was born – in the spring.

Recently, Chrissy has opened up about her experience of post-natal depression and wrote an article about it for US Glamour, published this month. 'I had everything I needed to be happy,' she wrote. 'And yet, for much of the last year, I felt unhappy.'

She went on to say her diagnosis came as a huge relief, commenting: 'I remember being so exhausted but happy to know that we could finally get on the path of getting better,' she wrote.

Speaking about his wife's illness to The Sun earlier this month, John said, 'You're not emotionally prepared for someone that's going through a dark time as you're welcoming this new life.

'When you don't understand what's happening, it's a bit challenging to figure it out and you don't know if it's something you've done or some other reason why she's not feeling well.'

He later said by the time Chrissy wrote her article for US Glamour (in February) she was 'already doing better', and if the pics of her celebrating her daughter's first birthday are anything to go by, it appears she is well on the road to recovery. Phew!
