She recently declared she was madly in love, and just a couple of months ago rumours abound that Cara Delevingne and her girlfriend of almost two years - singer Annie Clark aka St Vincent - might be engaged.
But it appears that the couple have gone their separate ways during Cara's hectic tour promoting her new movie Suicide Squad.
A source told The Sun: “Cara and Annie still care about each other, but pressures of the long-distance romance just became too much.
"The cracks were beginning to show on Cara’s birthday in August when Annie wasn’t there for her party. Instead she posted a very flat birthday message on Instagram. They decided to call it a day but remain pals and are hoping they can work things out as its no doubt they really love each other."
Indeed, in the September issue of US Vogue, Cara said of St. Vincent: "Before, I didn't know what love was - real love. I didn't understand the depth of it. I always used to think it was you against the world.
"Now I know the meaning of life is love. Whether that's for yourself or for the world or your partner."
While at Burning Man Festival last week, Cara posted a photo on Instagram with the caption: “Excuse me while I disappear.” Along with another picture of herself kissing a friend, which was later deleted.
