Caitlyn Jenner announced that she will have 20 grandchildren in 2020 on last night’s episode of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! But, after doing some quick maths, many eagle-eyed viewers have realised that doesn’t quite add up…unless someone in the family is pregnant that we don’t know about yet.
The conversation came up during a conversation with fellow campmates Jacqueline Jossa, Nadine Coyle, Kate Garraway and Adele Roberts. Discussing their experiences with children, Garraway asked Jenner how many grandchildren she has at the grand age of 70.
’20 in December,’ Jenner replied – to which everyone cooed, naturally.
But viewers were quick to realise that those numbers don’t quite add up, unless there are some secret grandchildren or pregnancies going on.
‘Caitlyn Jenner saying she’ll have 20 grandchildren by December on #imacelebrity but my maths isn’t adding up,’ Fiona Day tweeted during the show. Listing Jenner’s children and their number of kids, Day found that there are only 16 grandchildren currently to account for.
Now, Brandon Jenner, Jenner’s son from her second marriage to Linda Thompson, is currently expecting twins with his girlfriend Cayley Stoker, which rounds us off to a clean 18. But still, Stoker will only be around seven months pregnant in December.
So, what’s the deal?! Is one of the Kardashian/Jenner clan expecting quadruplets? Will Kim and Kylie randomly both turn up with twins during the annual Christmas bash? Does Jenner have a third secret family we don’t even know about?
Or, and this is probably more likely given the obscene amount of children to account for, is Jenner’s maths just slightly off?
Honestly, after Kylie Jenner’s big disappearing act of 2018, we wouldn’t be surprised if any one of Jenner’s children suddenly turned up with a new baby.
