Britney Spears has been through so much; the world has watched the superstar grow up from a teenager to a young woman, whilst going through her toughest moments under a microscope. After 13 years she fought her way out a conservatorship and finally had control over her own life. Sadly, earlier this year after announcing her third pregnancy, Britney confirmed in May the loss of her ‘miracle baby early in the pregnancy.’
After all the tragedy she has faced, to finally see her celebrating a joyous moment was all the world wanted to see. Yesterday she wed her long-time partner, Sam Asghari. Wedding guests included Madonna and Paris Hilton - but not everyone who turned up was invited.
Britney’s special day was tainted after her ex-husband - Jason Alexander - who crashed her wedding before the ‘I do’s’ took place. Her ex-husband (they were married for just two days, after then spontaneously got hitched in Las Vegas in 2004) is said to have turned up at the event and approached security, telling them Britney had invited him. He declared, ‘She’s my first and only wife and I’m her first husband...I’m here to crash the wedding because nobody is here except Sam. Where the f--k is the family?'
According to videos circulating online he was recording on Instagram Liveas he stormed through the popstars home. He pointed the camera towards the venue saying, 'So here's inside scoop of the bulls--t wedding.' The image later froze as security tackled him to the ground.
Jason was charged with four misdemeanours: two counts of misdemeanour battery, one count of misdemeanour vandalism and one count of misdemeanour trespassing. Britney is reportedly left, understandably, ‘shaken’ by the scary incident but is safe.
His actions follow news that in January, Jason was charged with violation of a protective order and aggravated stalking of an unidentified woman.
For the first time in 13 years no one ‘owns’ Britney. The powerful #FreeBritney movement helped her to have these special moments and regain her voice. She is finally in control of her own life, and didn’t deserve for her happy ending to be overshadowed by a man who no longer has any relevance in her life.

Jason Alexander, 40, is Britney Spears ex-husband and a former childhood friend. It's not known what he does for a living but the two were friends after growing up in Kentwood, Louisiana together.

The pair tied the knot in a spontaneous Las Vegas ceremony in January 2004. At the time the newlyweds were both 22 years old. However, the marriage was annulled just 55 hours later.
Jason later claimed that the wedding was forced by Britney’s mother, Lynne, and her management. In the annulment, it was stated that Britney ‘lacked understanding of her actions, to the extent that she was incapable of agreeing to the marriage.’
After their short-lived marriage was dissolved, Jason spoke to Access Hollywood about their whirlwind wedding. He said, 'It was just crazy, man. We were just looking at each other and said, “Let’s do something wild, crazy. Let’s go get married, just for the hell of it."'
Jason also claimed he tried to remain in contact with Britney after the annulment but has had no response since. He has said publicly that he would be open to giving a relationship with Britney 'another go.'
