Barack Obama has a new job role to add to his overflowing CV: Instagram Husband.
ICYMI, an Instagram husband is the unsung hero of the social media world - the obedient partner who will patiently snap away until they get the perfect shot. Made famous by the satirical video profiling the term, any blogger or influencer worth their salt is guaranteed to have one in the wings.
Since the Obamas left the White House in January, the family have been taking some well overdue time out. They’ve jetted off to a number of tropical locations including Richard Branson’s Necker Island and Palm Springs.
Now, they're staying in a resort in French Polynesia owned by Marlon Brando, along with their friends Bruce Springsteen, Tom Hanks and Oprah Winfrey.
Naturally, they wish to document their trip of a lifetime, and this is where Barack’s new role as Instagram Husband comes in. Barack was spotted snapping a photo of Michelle as she posed aboard their luxury super yacht. Just when we thought we couldn't love them anymore...
Twitter user Madeleine Hill shared the pic with the caption ‘Barack Obama is an Instagram Husband’, and the image quickly went viral, garnering in upwards of 35,000 retweets.
