Adut Akech’s DIY Face Mask
Earlier this week, supermodel Adut Akech, took to Instagram to share a post of herself robed up donning a yellow mask. The caption read 'Self-care night' and 'Home DIY face mask,' which, of course, triggered an influx of comments requesting the recipe. And Akech delivered. It turns out that the secret to her glowing complexion is a concoction of ingredients that are probably already sat in your kitchen cupboard - turmeric, honey, lemon juice, and apple cider vinegar.
Hailey Bieber's DIY Face Mask
Fellow beauty junkie, Hailey Bieber, has been delighting us with skincare tip after skincare tip over on the 'gram (see her entire routine here). And last week she even went live with skincare guru, Dr Barbara Sturm, for a masterclass in all things skincare. One trick, that Bieber herself swears by is an at-home DIY mask which calls upon two simple ingredients - one egg and one tablespoon of honey. So easy to make, this face mask should help minimise pores.
Bella Hadid & Gigi Hadid's Facialist DIY Face Mask
Celebrity facialist, Mimi Luzon, who counts Bella, Gigi Hadid and Naomi Campbell as clients, recently shared her favourite DIY face mask recipes with E! News. And for those of us currently experiencing some congestion (and don't worry, you're not alone) Luzon suggests mixing together one cup of antioxidant-rich tea, two cups of rice flour and half a teaspoon of honey. After 20 minutes, this mask should help boost glow and enhance skin tone. Double win!
