If, like us, you were glued to Season 4 of The Crown you'll likely have a minor obsession with breakout star Emma Corrin, now famed for taking on the role of Diana in the hit Netflix series. Whether you're crazy for her style, her haircut or all of the above, what you simply can't have missed is how cracking her skin looks. Diana was famed for her flawless skin. Thanks the powers of Instagram and a video led by make-up artist to the stars Florrie White we got a glimpse into the intricacies of Emma's very own skincare routine, and a good look at how she pairs strings of pearls with button down pyjamas too. What's not to love?!
Watch: Emma Corrin's Skincare Routine Revealed
The star brand in Emma Corrin's skincare routine? Augustinus Bader. This skincare line is beloved by the A-list set for good reason. Professor Augustinus Bader himself is considered to be one of the world's leading experts in regenerative medicine and tissue engineering and his research in the burns healing field is celebrated worldwide. His notoriety is such that when Victoria Beckham had her pick of experts to help her launch her Victoria Beckham skincare line, there was only one she turned to. Augustinus Bader, and his name joins hers on each bottle. Applied to everyday skincare, Professor Augustinus Bader's knowledge makes for world class products, hence the hefty price tag. It's certainly ticking the boxes for Emma anyway!
Emma Corrin's Skincare Routine Decoded
First up Florrie White talks through using the Augustinus Bader Cleansing Balm, £55. Her top tip? Wiping it off first with a flannel or muslin cloth wet with warm water before following up with another flannel or muslin cloth wet with cold water to really perk skin up. This Emma duly does. Next comes the moisturiser. Enter Augustinus Bader's hero product The Cream, £205. Emma notes that this is her go-to for day wear, but that she uses The Rich Cream version at night for an extra dose of nourishment. 'I normally do Rich Cream at night and Cream in the day,' Emma clarifies. To finish? A couple of drops of Augustinus Bader The Face Oil, £180.
If you have a good skincare routine down it's the base to everything
Emma Corrin's passion for skincare is clear. 'If you have a good skincare routine down it's the base to everything,' Emma states. Skincare is even more important to Emma because she's not a make-up fanatic, 'I get very scared by make-up and I'm not very good at using it,' she says, 'so when I have a bad skin day it's very distressing.' Bad skin day? Not on Augustinus Bader's watch. Shop all the products in Emma Corrin's skincare routine below as well as her new go-to staples (pictured above) that she recently shared on Instagram:
