Use Charlotte Tilbury's Foundation Shade Finder to find your best match. We've tried it ourselves, and can confirm it's accurate.

Rachael Martin beauty director says: 'I have combination skin with an oily T-zone, and I find this foundation hits the sweet spot. My skin looks balanced – the perfect, healthy base. My blemishes are blurred, but it still manages to look like skin. Healthy skin, at that. The coverage is full, yes, but its far from mask-like. In terms of longevity, it truly lives up to the claims – this stuff will not budge. It stays fresh and bright-looking all day, even through a sweaty commute. I like to set it with a dusting of Airbrush Flawless Finish Powder and a spritz of Airbrush Setting Spray, which really helps bolster longevity. Would I switch up my foundation for this one? Hard yes.'

During a recent PR meeting with Kenneth Green (who represent a wealth of beautiful fragrance brands) when I came across something totally brand new. Amidst the glitter and gleam of Christmas launches (more on that in the coming weeks), one golden bottle stood out. Its box, adorned with delicate line drawings of the Eiffel Tower, chic Parisian buildings and side streets lined with wicker chairs - the kind you pull up to for a glass of red and a baguette with a heap of salty, French butter- immediately caught my eye.‘Ooh, what is this one?’ I asked, instantly drawn to it.‘Oh, this is very exciting,’ the PR said. ‘It’s by a new Parisian haute perfume house called Solférino. They’ve recently launched in Selfridges. This is a big deal. Firstly, because Selfridges hasn’t taken on a new fragrance brand in years- their buying team is famously discerning where space in their precious marbled beauty hall is concerned. Secondly, Solférino is brand new, with just ten scents in its launch collection. For someone such as Selfridges to back them so confidently? It’s rare - and this says a lot about the brand.

Rachael Martin beauty director says: This is a fragrance that captures the indulgence and luxury of a Saturday afternoon spent lolling around the capital. Think wandering the cobbled streets, people-watching over a glass (or two) of wine, strolling past the Eiffel Tower… It's exciting yet comforting, and seems to embody that mix of familiarity and thrill I always seem to feel when I’m in Paris.Created by perfumer Tanguy Guesnet, I’d describe this as a heady, enveloping scent. While it’s not for the wallflower, it’s far from brash either. Top notes of pepper and cardamom muddle into a heart of vetiver, cedarwood and sandalwood. It’s a blend that sings, but doesn’t shout. The base brings in tonka, vanilla bean and amber, creating a cosseting, calming finish that invites you to ‘pause at a café with views of the Eiffel Tower.

Sundays in Rio feels slightly more sophisticated and grown-up- like Cheirosa ’62’s older sister. It’s softer and more subtle, even down to the delicate purple bottle that feels more 'sunset' than 'sunrise.' One misting reveals a heady amber musk- it’s creamy, woody, and settles beautifully. Then comes the vanilla and pink pepper. This is an unexpected pairing that creates a cocooning, skin-like finish. It’s at once comforting yet makes a quiet statement.

Rachael Martin beauty director says: 'As someone who would happily spend over £100 on a good scent, knowing this one is on par with its high end counterparts is actually quite thrilling. It's only £24, and for a hefty 90ml bottle I think this is excellent value for money. Will it be snapped up by teenagers the world over? Almost certainly. It has that addictive, viral quality that the TikTok generation will go wild for. But you can bet I’ll be getting in on it too. My only gripe? I hate that it’s a limited edition. I’ve already ordered two. So if you want one, don’t wait- it will sell out.'

As with all of its formulas, the newest Skin Rocks innovation is clinically proved, results driven and formula-first, which is why its contents are packed with hardworking ingredients like turmeric-derived antioxidant tetrahydrodiferuloylmethane (THDFM) which blocks hyperpigmentation-causing enzymes in their tracks as well as skin brightening peptides and stabilised vitamin C, which really helps to cover the multifaceted nature of hyperpigmentation.

Sameeha Shaikh, beauty writer, says: 'Hyperpigmentation issues have followed me since my first breakout when I was 18. Now aged 31, it's safe to say it's a problem I still face to this day. Which is why arming my routine with a hard-working serum that is capable of stopping post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation before it can manifest on the skin is so important. It means there is one less skin stress to worry about.'

The next generation of Charlotte Tilbury's setting sprays promises to be just as good as the first. With a melt, fade and crease-proof formula, it locks make-up in place for up to 16 hours, while blurring, smoothing and mattifying for a signature Charlotte Tilbury airbrush, flawless finish.

Sameeha Shaikh, beauty writer, says: 'As someone who is wedded to the brand's original setting spray, I was keen to see how the next-generation iteration would perform. For context, I have acne-prone, combination skin that is prone to shine as the day wears on, so just call me the ideal candidate to put this product through its paces. While the new setting spray is geared towards those of us who have oily to combination skin, enlarged pores, and love a matte, full-coverage make-up moment, on first use I couldn't notice any stark differences between the OG and the modern formula – the familiar scent, the fine mist and the way it felt on my skin were all near identical. It also manages to retain some glow (not as much as the OG of course), so the soft-matte, second-skin claims are true. So far, so good. But the real test came a couple of hours into wearing the setting spray. While I usually tend to get oily by lunchtime, I was surprised to find that after applying the spray in the morning, my make-up held up far longer than usual. The usual shine spots around my nose and chin were muted and I didn't have an urge to reach for my trusty Airbrush Flawless Finish Compact Powder. In my world, that's pretty revolutionary.'
