The latest collaboration we're bookmarking in our calendars? Tove x Merit – and we’re predicting big things.

Of course, the choice to collaborate on a glossy, champagne hued bag makes perfect sense - both the make-up brand Merit and fashion house Tove are renowned for beautiful, understated aesthetics. Created with the elegant minimalist in mind, the new limited edition evening bag has been made with vegan silk material and is brilliantly versatile - it can be worn as either a clutch or shoulder bag, and we're all about options.

We played with the proportions of the bag, elongating the tie detail and providing a more angular perspective on its silhouette. Reimagining the fabrication in a soft mink satin lent an elevated, feminine feel to the bag that felt right for late summer nights.'

It's not the first time Merit has partnered with a fashion brand. In the autumn of last year, Merit teamed up with ongoing collaborative partner, Proenza Schouler on a reversible leather handbag. Inspired by Merit's signature makeup bag (the cord pouches have reached status symbol) the makeup bag/clutch hybrid became a cult accessory.
