Like a lot of people, I've turned into a cream bronzer convert over the last few years. Thanks to brands like Chanel and Charlotte TiIbury, these creamy products have become more popular than ever and I, for one, could simply never go back to powder formulae. So, when I first heard whispers of the Glossier Cloud Paint Bronzer, £22, I knew I had to get my hands on it.

If you love the original Glossier Cloud Paint blush, we think you'll absolutely love the bronzer version. The sheer, natural-yet-flattering formula sits comfortably on the skin to cheat the appearance of a skin-kissed glow. Unlike your usual powder bronzer, cream bronzers are great at working in synergy with the skin.

Why should you turn to cream bronzer? If you're finding that your powder bronzer looks chalky or your skin is typically dry, a cream formula is definitely the way to go. Glossier focuses on the look of real skin with products designed to naturally enhance your complexion. The new bronzer is available in five shades designed to add dimension to the skin as well as a natural, sun-kissed glow.

What did I think overall?

After trying the Cloud Paint Blush a while ago, I had very high hopes for the bronzer and, I have to say, I'm super impressed. The lightweight, gel texture mimics the blush formula without any added shimmer or sparkle. Personally, I like a bronzer that adds some colour and radiance to my fair skin and I loved the final results. I did find that I had to reapply the bronzer a few times to create my desired look but I love how buildable and customisable this product is for all.

I used the shade Dune and it works well for my fair to light skin tone. Finding the perfect shade of bronzer can be tricky but it's important to focus on the undertones you're looking for. If you want to cheat a skin-kissed look, a warmer, more orange toned bronzer will work well. However, if you're looking to sculpt your face and create depth and shadows, a cooler, grey-toned bronzer would suit.

Just as with the Cloud Paint Blush, the only complaint I have is with the packaging. Although the tube is ideal for travel and keeping in a make-up bag, in order to apply directly to the skin you need to use the back of your hand to pick up the product with a brush. I applied the bronzer with REFY's double ended brush and was pleased with the finish.

Looking to shop? If you love Glossier's Cloud Paint Blush, I think adding the new bronzer to your routine is a great idea. Both products merge together beautifully on the skin and create natural-yet-flattering dimensions with lots of radiance, perfect as we approach spring.
