The current crop of young and in demand actors have proven to serve real sartorial greatness. With standout looks from Zendaya, Florence Pugh, Lily Rose Depp, and Yara Shahidi, our Instagram saved folder is flooded. But one of the year's most exciting actresses just so happens to be one of the most creative with her beauty looks too. Enter Anya Taylor-Joy.

With a unique take on retro beauty that nods to the best of Hollywood glamour, Anya's beauty looks are unmistakably her. Think Lauren Bacall with a side of Gwen Stefani.

Most recently while promoting Edgar Wright's 'Last Night in Soho', the actress treated us to some of her best yet. Teaming up with long time collaborators make-up artist Georgie Eisdell and hairstylist Gregory Russell, Anya proved she's not afraid of colour with a party ready iridescent violet eyeshadow that changed the way we thought about purple. Pastels for winter? Groundbreaking!

And if that colour choice didn't convince you of Anya's chameleon like ability to pull off any shade, a reminder of her hair change for the Queens Gambit surely must. Although, granted, it was a wig, Anya's own natural colour is a deep honey blonde, making her switch to a fiery copper red all the more dramatic, but not the first time she has explored swapping shades (her chocolate brown brunette at the 2018 BAFTA awards is a must see).

But if there is any staple that we can rely on ATJ to deliver, it's a bold, matte lip. From a classic versatile red to a deep, blackcurrant purple, her red carpet looks always factor in her signature finishing touch. For the 2021 Emmy Awards Georgie Eisdell used Dior Beauty's Rouge Forever Liquid in shade 'Forever Dior', and the best news is - it's still shoppable, a red carpet approved tip for under £35.

So, In celebration of Anya's versatility and ever changing style, we looked back at some of her most attention garnering beauty moments. Prepare to take notes.
