This New Product Has Transformed My Hair – And It’s About To Go Viral

Take my money.

I’ll be the first to admit that my hair has required more than just a little TLC in the past few months. Like the rest of TikTok, I’ve embarked on a hair care journey in a bid to restore the strength, lustre and length lost as a result of consistent heat damage and bleaching. What can I say? I’m just a girl.

As a beauty editor, I’m lucky enough to have a lot of great products at my disposal. I've recently cut my hair and decided to ease up on my highlights, too (sob) so what better time to begin collating a routine that truly focuses on my hair health? There’s the K18 Hair Leave-In Molecular Repair Hair Mask, £30, known to repair broken bonds, the Pureology Strength Cure Shampoo and Conditioner, £52.50, a dream duo for restoring brittle strands and the OGX Damage Remedy+ Coconut Miracle Oil, £8.99, which protects frayed ends. And, of course, copious amounts of heat protectant for the rare occasion when I do allow low heat to touch my hair - the Dyson Airstrait only, just FYI. The one thing my newly streamlined routine was missing however, was a do-it-all leave in product - a single post-shower spritz that would detangle, hydrate, condition, volumise, and de-frizz. Which is where Color Wow’s brand new Money Mist comes in.

If you’re an avid TikTok scroller then you’re likely already aware of Color Wow. When I say it's everywhere, I really do mean it's everywhere - its advertising strategy errs a little on the aggressive side, to say the least. That said, I really rate the products. I’ve tried several including the Color Wow Money Masque,£39.50 and the Color Wow Extra Strength Dream Coat, £15, and have been consistently impressed at how they’ve made my hair feel and look. They’re science-backed too, so consider me more than just a little intrigued by this newest launch.

How does the Color Wow Money mist work?

According to the press release (which I've really scrutinised) the Money Mist can 'adjust to an individual fibre’s needs because of the diversity of size, molecular weight and type of ingredients found in the formula.' This means that each hair fibre is flooded with the exact level of peptides, hydration and conditioning it needs to strengthen, moisturise and smooth texture. There's Color Wow's proprietary Baolyzed Amino Acid Complex to thank for that, created by renowned chemist Dr. Joe Cincotta. It's this complex that penetrates the hair shaft easily, helping to reinforce the hair from the inside out. The results? Nourished, more hydrated, and, ultimately, more expensive-looking hair.

How to use Color Wow Money Mist

It's simple. After washing, I'll spritz a liberal amount through my lengths and ends. It's a leave-in conditioner, working to hydrate and detangle, allowing for me to comb through my hair much more easily. I'll then blow dry as usual and, trust me when I say I'll see a marked difference in the look and texture of my hair on the days I use it. One misting is enough to make my dry hair look moisturised while any frizz is minimised instantly. It's impressive stuff.

Color Wow Money Mist: Our Honest Review

The Money Mist has become a staple part of my new hair repair ritual. It may be £30, but trust me when I say its worth its salt. If you're also on a hair repair journey then this could be just the ticket.
