We already know what the most popular baby names of 2015are - but the baby name experts (yep, that's a job), have already started predicting what 2016 holds in store. And it sounds like cute retro names areally are making a comeback, with monikers like Beryl and Hector topping the prediction lists.
Baby Centre have released a list of 30 boys' and girls' names they predict will be chosen by parents across the land next year - and erm, Game of Thrones, Girls and other TV shows seem to have had influence. Khaleesi, and Marnie (both names used on each show) both make the lists, as does Kit, the real name of the actor that plays GOT character Jon Snow.
More psychedelic names choices like Luna, Electra and Halo make the girl's list, while a lot of place names like Cairo, Devon and Aspen prove popular on the boy's list.
Pretty unusual, we think you'll agree, but it sounds like people are over picking regular names like Sarah and Tom for their kids. And sadly, none of the unfashionable baby names reportedly dying out among parents have been included. It's just not your time, Gary.
