It’s been the question on everybody’s lips for months - and with Rylan Clarke leaving Strictly’s It Takes Two we thought we had the answer – but it’s finally been revealed who will be stepping up to take Emma Willis’ place and host the reboot of Big Brother: AJ Odudu and Will Best.

According to the official statement announcing their new roles, the pair will not only host the show, they will also preside over the weekly evictions and quiz housemates on all of the goings on in the house. It’s also been revealed that there will be an additional nightly live show in which the pair – and hopefully some celeb guests and Big Brother super-fans – will debate all the hot topics inside the house.

AJ is already a regular on our screens hosting shows like The Big Breakfast and The Bridge as well as appearing as a contestant on Strictly Come Dancing. Plus, AJ is no stranger to the show - back in the day (we’re talking 10 years ago in 2013) she hosted Celebrity Big Brother’s Bit on the Side.

Speaking about her new role, AJ says, ‘I’m so excited to finally be able to say that, yes: I’m hosting Big Brother! I couldn't be happier. Following in the footsteps of some of my favourite broadcasting legends to front such an iconic show is an absolute honour - and to do it alongside my amazing friend Will is the icing on the cake.’

If you haven't heard as much about Will Best, here's the lowdown. He started out as one of the presenters on T4 before moving on to hosting shows like Dance Dance Dance with Alesha Dixon. He and AJ are in fact firm friends and have worked together before hosting Red Bull Soapbox Race: London 2022, so we know they’ll have plenty of chemistry.

He says of the opportunity, ‘I grew up with Big Brother so getting a chance to host it with my mate AJ is a dream come true. I can't wait to tell some housemates not to swear.’

Now that we finally know who’s hosting the show, does this mean that we can expect it to appear on our screens pretty soon?
