Everyone’s favourite reality game show - I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! - is back for another season of bugs, bushtucker trials, and well, celebrities.

ITV has released a number of teaser trailers for this year's show, featuring hosts Ant and Decin line, revealing a castle and medieval knight theme. The most recent trailer shows the pair as knights themselves, with Dec riding a horse and Ant riding a tiny Shetland pony.

You can watch the teaser here:

We’re excited the show is making another return, but when and where is it being filmed? And who will be taking part?

When Does I’m a Celebrity 2021 Start?

I'm A Celebrity is coming back to our screens very soon! The show's official start date is set to be Sunday 21 November so we only have a few more weeks left to wait. There will be no more Sunday scaries with this iconic show back on our screens. The first episode will be a bumper episode airing on ITV from 9pm-10:40pm! I think it's what we deserve after a whole year without this legendary show.

Where is I’m a Celebrity 2021 being filmed?

Thanks to ongoing uncertainty surrounding the pandemic and travel restrictions, the show won't be filmed in Australia this year. After all, Australia has just undergone a huge lockdown, and borders only opened three days ago. Instead, just as it did last year, the series will be set in Gwrych Castle in North Wales.

ITV confirmed the new filming location after the show was (incorrectly) rumoured to be filmed in Warwickshire. 'We can confirm today that we'll be returning to Wales for the 2021 series of I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!' said ITV’s head of commissioning Katie Rawcliffe.

'We've always said we have contingencies in place for the series if the COVID situation continues to bring uncertainty, and after a highly successful run at the castle last year, we're pleased that we can return there.'

This means the castle theme will be making a comeback, and Ant and Dec’s twitter confirms they will be dressing up as knights to go along with it.

Who Is in the I’m a Celebrity 2021 Lineup?

The rumour mill about potential camp mates have gone into overdrive as usual. So far, no celebrities have been confirmed to be taking part in the I’m a Celeb 2021 lineup. Ant and Dec posted a very teasing video on twitter of them reacting to the lineup, but the celebrities’ pictures were blurred out! We’ll have to wait for an official announcement from ITV, before knowing for sure.

However, there are some theories and we also have some of our own.

Fans are sure Great British Bake Off winner Nadiya Hussain will reverse her declining to appear on the show this year. Hussain was confirmed to be in the 2020 series, but declined due to it being too cold in Wales.

Richard Madeleyof Richard and Judy is also rumoured to be part of the lineup, after he revealed he had signed a television contract worth £200,000. I’m a Celeb fans believe they can see Madeley in one of the blurred out headshots from Ant and Dec’s video.

But she’s suggested she regrets the decision, since. Speaking to The Guardian, she said “Still, I can’t help wondering what it would have been like.” So maybe the producers have reinvited her in 2021?

There are also some celebrities who’ve shown their eagerness to take part at some point, so maybe they’ll join this year? Jade Thirwall of Little Mix is one of them, who told Heart FM that she'd be open to appearing on the show, saying, ‘I'll try anything once me, do you know what I mean? I'll give it a crack - I’m good at creepy crawlies.’

RuPaul’s Drag Race UK’s The Vivienne has also previously shown enthusiasm for the show, saying she’d love to take part one day. On Lorraine, she said ‘I'm petrified of spiders but get me to that jungle, I'd do it. What a great life opportunity that I'm never going to get again... I am all for that!’

This theory checks out. The success of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK means ITV bosses are said to be keen to sign one of the show’s stars. ‘They have big fanbases who would follow them to I’m A Celeb,’ a source told The Sun. But it may not be The Vivienne - Baga Chipz and Cheryl Hole are also rumoured to participate.

Away from Drag Race, Frankie Bridge of pop group The Saturdays may also appear in the show.

We have also seen that I'm A Celeb have a reserve contestant in case of any unplanned problems. This year it is rumoured to be Leon "Locksmith" Rolle from drum and bass band Rudimental.

Whoever will be in the show, we’re excited to see some bushtucker trials.
