When is comes to The Traitors, absolutely no one is safe – and if her faux pas is anything to go by, fan favourite Linda certainly may not be sneaking around inside those Scottish castle walls for much longer...
So far, former opera singer Linda and call centre manager Minah have been able to keep the fact that they are Traitors well hidden from their fellow Faithfuls – however a fatal error may mean Linda’s time on the show could be coming to an end soon.
During episode six, the Traitors were instructed to write the names of four players on a painting. 70-year-old Linda - who has already been dubbed an 'icon' by fans - wrote down Leon, Alexander and Fozia’s names.
While this may not seem like a giveaway in itself, her unique handwriting has left many fearing she may find herself caught at the next roundtable.
You see, Linda doesn’t simply write her Z’s in the most typical way. Penning it with more of a swish than your average contestant, some fans are now worrying that the star’s handwriting may give her away to the Faithfuls – having wrote Fozia’s name in a similar way during the roundtables.
Noting Linda's mistake, one fan wrote, 'This would be the ultimate detective work to reveal Linda as a traitor. Nobody under 50 is writing a Z like this.'
And while many viewers found themselves worrying over Linda's future in the Scottish castle, others couldn't help but feel there were other players involved- with some suggesting that Minah may have planned to expose her fellow Traitor.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), one viewer wrote, 'It was Linda who stole the quill, Linda who wrote the names, Linda who put the quill back - Linda taking all the risk at Minah's suggestion.' Another agreed, 'Linda is not good at this game. Minah is very good.'
So far, Armani has been the only traitor to be evicted from the castle - with Minah and Linda heading into the next episode safe. If they both make it to the final, they’ll have the chance to steal money from the Faithfuls and claim the prize fund for their own.
Last year saw soldier Harry Clark bag the prize after playing a clever game with Faithful Mollie Pearce. During the first season of the show, the Faithfuls made their only win in Traitors history so far – with Faithfuls Meryl, Hannah and Aaron taking the money from Traitor Wilf.
