Ok, if you're anything like us, you need to talk about the upcoming season finale of The Traitors UK. Already this season has given us all the emotions (we've seen more tears than ever), rivalries, false alliances and plenty of backstabbing.
But last night (Thursday's) episode left us with a massive cliffhanger ahead of tonight's finale. Allow us to recap. After newly-recruited Traitor Freddie blundered at the roundtable, he was banished by the Faithfuls, leaving Charlotte Berman the only Traitor left in the game. But, in true Traitors style, nothing is at it seems. Earlier in the episode, Claudia Winkelman revealed that a special power, known as the Seer, would be granted to the player who made the most money during a mission. The Seer can invite a fellow player to a meeting, where they will have to reveal their true identity - Faithful or Traitor. We let out an audible gasp last night when Francesca, who was granted the Seer power, chose Traitor Charlotte for a private meeting. Watch this space.
All this drama follows Wednesday's episode, when Charlotte threw old time Traitor Minah Shannon under the bus by voting for her in the final roundtable. This shocking twist meant that Minah went home, and Charlotte escaped unscathed - and potentially quelling any suspicion around her. ‘You take them under your wing and they do you dirty,’ said a shocked Minah after she left the show.
With the prospect of the £120,000 cash prize now in sight, it's all to play for. We've only got a few hours to wait until we find out whether the Faithfuls can put two and two together to oust Charlotte.
But in the meantime, here's our predictions of how that all-important final tonight could unravel...
Who is left in The Traitors UK?
Five contestants remain in The Traitors UK final. This is Traitor Charlotte, and Faithfuls Jake Brown, Leanne Quigley, Alexander Dragonetti and Francesca Rowan-Plowden.
What is the Seer power in The Traitors UK?
The Seer is a new power introduced in season three of The Traitors UK, which means one contestant can find out whether someone of their choice is a Faithful or a Traitor. 'The Seer has the power to learn one other player's identity,' Claudia said. 'The Seer will invite one player this evening to a private, face-to-face meeting. That player that they've chosen, will have no choice and must reveal if they are a faithful or a traitor. This power could turn the entire game on its head.'
Francesca has been given the power of the Seer after winning the most money in Thursday's mission. 'Here I am, in the final five, and I've suddenly got this magic power to see through the game. There must be another Traitor. I've just got to think so clearly about how I figure it out,' she said.
What is Charlotte's game plan on The Traitors UK?
Since being recruited as a Traitor, it seems Charlotte is playing a tactical, albeit dangerous, game. She entered the show putting on a fake Welsh accent, because it is deemed the most 'trustworthy'. Then, when recruited as a Traitor, she made no secret of her willingness to throw Minah under the bus if needed. Wednesday's episode confirmed she really is a master manipulator, after she voted Minah out. Yep, in Charlotte's world 'the sisterhood' doesn't exist.
In a strategic move, Charlotte recruited Freddie, who has been suspected of being a Traitor several times before, to help her reach the final. However, since the last episode ended on a cliff-hanger of Seer Frankie inviting Charlotte to a secret meeting, where she will be forced to reveal her identity, she may not be as safe as she thinks.
Did Minah hint that Charlotte is a Traitor on Traitors UK?
Some fans think that Minah dropped a vital hint as to who the last Traitor is on Wednesday's episode, to help the Faithfuls oust Charlotte. When she revealed her identity as she was banished, Minah said: 'I am, and have been from the start, a Traitor’ – leading some fans to suspect she was hinting there is a recruited Traitor hiding in plain sight. Faithfuls Jake and Leanne even picked up on this, and discussed it afterwards.
‘Did Minah just drop a bit of a clue with the ‘have been from the start’ – indicating that there definitely is a recruiter Traitor left,’ asked one user on X.
What are the odds for The Traitors UK final?
Since series three of The Traitors UK began, the bookies have been working tirelessly to gather all the odds as to who could be in the chance of winning the £120,000 cash prize.
Charlotte was a former favourite on betting sites, but since Minah's banishment the odds have shifted. According to gambling.com, Faithful-turned-Traitor Charlotte is now 1/2 favourite on betting apps to be banished next.
Meanwhile, the Faithfuls are now huge 1/5 favourites to win this year's series. Jake and Leanne look most likely to be the last players standing at 4/6 and even respectively for victory, followed by Francesca (11/8).
When is the final of T_he Traitors UK_?
After weeks of treachery, a winner will be crowned tonight. Rather than its regular start time of 9pm, The Traitors UK final will kick off on BBC One and BBC iPlayer at 8:30pm on Friday 24th January, and run until 9:40pm.
