The highly anticipated line-up for the first series of The Celebrity Traitors is finally here. The famous spin-off won't be on our screens until autumn, but we have all summer to study the celebrities and work out who has what it takes to be a Faithful or a Traitor.
One of those lucky (or unlucky) individuals is Niko Omilana. He joined the likes of Paloma Faith, Lucy Beaumont, Jonathan Ross and David Olusoga to film the series in the Scottish Highlands with host Claudia Winkleman. If you're looking to find out more about him before the show begins then you've come to the right place.
Here's everything you need to know about Niko Omilana.
Who is Niko Omilana?
Niko Omilana is a YouTuber and influencer famed for his prank videos. He ran as an independent candidate in the 2021 London mayoral election and the 2024 general election, but was unsuccessful both times.
He is part of the Beta Squad YouTube group. Niko has also recently launched a sweets brand called Shades by Niko, which are available to buy from the end of May.
How old is Niko Omilana?
Niko is 27. He was born on 4 March 1998.
How is Niko Omilana famous?
With more than 7.8 million subscribers on YouTube and 3 million followers on Instagram, Niko has a large digital fanbase. The Celebrity Traitors will be his first dalliance on mainstream TV, however, and will likely expand his reach even further.
Niko is best known for his irreverent humour. In 2021, he released a mockumentary on Netflix called 'How I Won The London Mayor Election', which, of course, he did not. Last summer, he announced a new Netflix show called 'NDL' [the Niko Defence League], but unsurprisingly it was a spoof.
Given Niko's knack for lies, jokes and pranks, will any of his fellow Faithful trust him? Could he make the perfect first Traitor? We'll have to wait to see...
Is Niko Omilana in a relationship?
Yes, Niko is in a relationship with Instagram model Sophie (@soppyG). Little is known about their relationship beyond what they share on TikTok, but their fans love to see them together.
