This year's series of Strictly Come Dancing has been bigger and better than ever. But it looks like the 2019 finale of the BBC One dancing show is going to become one of the most memorable finals of all time, as the channel have confirmed that global sensation (and rumoured Glastonbury headliner{ =nofollow}) Taylor Swift will perform one of her hit singles.

Still in the competition are comedian Chris Ramsey, actress Emma Barton, children's TV presenter Karim Zeroual and actor Kevin Fletcher. So who knows who will take the Glitterball trophy! Last year, Stacey Dooley was crowned queen of the dancefloor.

Details of Taylor's performance are being kept under wraps but it's likely she'll be performing one of her songs from her latest album Lover - however, just like the American Music Awards, she might even treat viewers to a medley of her biggest hits.

The news that Taylor is hitting the dancefloor on the December 14 final follows her spectacular night at the AMAs{ =nofollow}, where she had a record-breaking night, winning more AMAs in her career than Michael Jackson.

After her dispute with Big Machine Group (where she said Scooter Braun and Scott Borchetta weren't going to let her perform the songs the label owns), she was able to perform a mash-up of some of her biggest songs from the last decade. The medley included The Man, Love Story, I Knew You Were Trouble, Blank Space and Shake It Off, where she was joined by Halsey and Camila Cabello. And if her performance for the AMAs is anything to go by, the nation is definitely in for a treat.
