Happy Monday, there’s a new reason to hard-relate-love Stacey Solomon.
Stacey went to watch her partner, Joe Swash, win the Dancing On Ice finale last night and she unintentionally live-blogged finding her outfit.
Did she go and meet with a fancy stylist, knowing that she was due to be on Sunday night Primetime TV? Have a lengthy personal shopper meeting? No, she went to Dagenham Market and we love her for it. And are also now itching to go to the market...
Taking to her Instagram stories on Sunday morning, she let her three million followers join her in a visit to the famous market, picking up some outfits for her son Rex, some Tottenham cake (if you had a school dinner in the 90s, you’ll know what this is) and, finally, some outfits for herself.
Two actually – green and sand-coloured matching jumpsuits, off the shoulder, with a ruched top. She was, she added, worried they were a bit dressed (and needed an iron). But, undeterred, she polled her fans and eventually opted for the green. And looked absolutely fantastic.
In news that most other people have been concentrating on, Joe went on to win the show with his partner, Alex Murphy. And Stacey took to social media to post about his win.
‘Firstly, EVERYONE in the final tonight was AMAZING & deserved that trophy,’ she tweeted. ‘Secondly, Joe we‘re all so immensely proud of u. To anyone who voted, thank u from the bottom of our hearts. He put his heart & soul into DOI & has LOVED every minute. It meant the world to him. So thank u.’
She then posted an adorable picture of her, Joe and son Rex, lying on the floor celebrating, adding: 'I really wanna say thank you by the way, not just to people who have voted just thank you to anyone who has ever been nice, kind and supported someone and built them up, you have no idea what difference that makes to somebody.
'I still can't believe it, EVERYONE in that final deserved to win so it's hard to believe Hoe [her nickname for Joe] done it.
'We are so proud and happy for him, we love you to the moon back @realjoeswashy. '
Right, we’re off to the market.
