The trailer for Selling Sunset series seven has officially been released and we're delighted to see that all of our fave LA-based realtors will be returning to the show. Except for one notable absence... Heather Rae El Moussa is nowhere to be seen.
We're not making this up!
We know that she's recently become a mum to the adorable Tristan and is busy working on a different reality show called The Flipping El Moussas on HGTV with her husband Tarek El Moussa, but honestly we're shocked.
Admittedly Heather previously hinted that this may be the case, but because she's such an essential member of The Oppenheim Group we just didn't want to believe her.
The reality star - who is one of the original cast members, having found fame on the show during its debut season in 2019 - told E News! that whilst she featured in the sixth season of Selling Sunset, it wasn't a given that she would be returning for the seventh.
Appearing alongside husband Tarek El Moussa, Heather, told the news outlet back in March, 'Season seven is filming right now, but I've been off maternity leave and I've been excited to get back to work. And so far, I've not been called back.'
When asked how this made her feel, she confessed it has been a 'little frustrating' and she is 'not sure' what has been going on.
After the release of the Selling Sunset series seven poster, Heather Rae El Moussa took to Instagram to joke about her absence writing, 'Looks like I got pushed in the water. It's a good thing I can swim! Congrats to my girls on S7! 💗 You may see me in a few episodes….. 💁🏼♀️'.
It better be more than a few episodes!
Despite not returning for Selling Sunset series seven, Heather has had her hands full this year. In January, she welcomed her first child - a little boy called Tristan - with Tarek, who is also a dad to Taylor, 12, and Brayden, seven, with his ex-wife Christina Hall.
Then in March, the couple premiered their new show, The Flipping El Moussas, which followed not only their married life, but careers as real estate experts. In July, it was confirmed that the series had been renewed for a second season.
