A famous footballer's daughter, a Saturdays singer's sister, the brother of a heavyweight champion... Love Island has certainly enjoyed its fair share of connections over the years. What's that saying? It's who you know, not what you know.
And this year's series - which kicks off on Monday 16 January - might not have ties in the form of famous relatives, but the South African villa will be welcoming an Islander who has brushed shoulders with none other than Daniel Craig.
Before embarking on her quest to find Mr. Right this winter, Olivia Hawkins, 27, revealed that she has quite the claim to fame(s).
'I did a film with Jason Statham and had a nice 10-minute convo about life. I've been a ring girl for KSI, I played a waitress in James Bond with Daniel Craig and I’ve also been a body double for Michelle Keegan and Emma Watson,' she confessed.
In 2021's No Time to Die, the actress and ring girl - who hails from Brighton - can be spotted wearing a black corset and feather headdress during a nightclub scene. See her in action below, at around the 17-second mark.
The cast of 2023 will have their social media accounts paused during their time in the villa - fresh protocol introduced this year by producers in a bid to limit trolling. In previous years, family and friends have run the accounts on the Islanders' behalf to rack up followers and support.
To date, Olivia has already 18k followers, with her bio reading, 'I’m off to find love in the @loveisland villa. See you soon!'
Being in a relationship will be new territory for Olivia, as she explained why she has chosen to go on the popular ITV2 dating show. 'I’m 27 and I’ve never been in a relationship so I feel like now I’m really ready to settle down and hopefully find the love of my life.'
Despite never being in a relationship, Olivia believes she would be an amazing girlfriend.
'I’m very loyal and have a big heart. When I fall, I fall deep so I would give someone 100% of me as long as they give 100% back,' she said.
Olivia cites commitment issues and 'wrong boy wrong time' as to why she has been single in the past, but insists she has been riding solo out of choice.
She also admits to falling in love quickly, but she has a very specific ick.
'When guys have no pillows on their bed,' she stated. 'I went into a guy’s room once and I was like, "You don’t have any pillows, where am I supposed to lay my head?" He went and got one from the sofa. Also when men use umbrellas, it’s a really weird one but it's just the thought of them running outside under the umbrella.'
