Selling Sunset's Emma Hernan has broken her silence after Nicole Young appeared to accuse her of having an affair with a married man during scenes in season eight.
Speaking to Vulture after her co-star's damning allegations, Emma said, 'Nicole is a sick individual. I’m going to be super candid. There’s zero truth to that rumour. I know what she’s referring to. First off, it was in 2021 that I showed this person properties and then they actually asked to invest in my empanada company. I said, "No," and nothing happened.'
She continued, 'When I say nothing happened, I never touched this man, never kissed this man, never held hands with this man. I was completely blindsided by this whole situation, and I mean backstabbed by everyone involved, everyone that knew anything about this because it’s completely slander, it’s defamation [and] it’s all of the things.'
'It was, like, this person reached out to me - he was getting divorced - and he sent me the fact that he was legally separated and asked to look at a property. I know there might’ve been a crush there, but there was nothing, not one single thing that transpired.'
Emma added that she filmed scenes in season eight with the person she was seeing at the time, but isn't sure why they didn't get aired. She also admitted that she has 'mixed feelings' about her future on the show.

It appeared that Nicole Young had said or done something at the end of the series that caused her feud with Emma Hernan, Chrishell Stause and Chelsea Lazkani to go into overdrive.

Chrishell and Nicole have been embroiled in a long-running feud since the latter joined the show in season six. But it appears to have reached the point of no return after Nicole made accusations about Emma Hernan, Chrishell’s best friend, leaving both Chrishell and Chelsea Lazkani raging on Emma’s behalf.
In episode eight, Nicole and Bre had a conversation about Emma and Chelsea, which culminated with Nicole alleging that Emma has had an affair with a married man. 'I think it's real interesting for Emma in particular to have comments about other people's marriages and get involved in any of that because I've heard some grey things in terms of that. So I would be careful in her position, because she's been involved with people she shouldn't have been,’ Nicole said.
Bre asked, ‘Married people?’, to which Nicole responded, ‘I wouldn't trust Emma with my husband.’
When Bre quizzed, ‘Not a husband snatcher?’ Nicole nodded her head.

Taking to Instagram ahead of season eight airing, Chrishell shared a series of stories writing, ‘Someone needs to take my phone [because] 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬. Are we really still giving airtime to LIARS that just want airtime??’
Chrishell then seemingly accused her rival Nicole Young of being said liar saying, 'I will NEVER work on a show with her on it again. I would rather be sued.’
She continued, ‘Disclaimer when you watch: Just know she spews a disgusting lie about a bestie that is categorically FALSE and SUPER damaging. It is NOT TRUE. [and] @done_and_done_productions you are disgusting for blindsiding [my friend] with this to see with the world instead of letting her at LEAST defend herself with the TRUTH.’
At first it was unclear who Chrishell was referring to as her ‘bestie’, but once Chelsea Lazkani took to her Instagram stories, all became clear.
Chelsea wrote, ‘Nicole Young, you are the most diabolical piece of [trash] I’ve ever met, you wanna start a rumour about Emma because all the rumours about you are true. OK, let’s see how this works out for you…’
And that’s not all! After Chrishell’s Instagram story expired after 24hrs, she was quick to continue calling out the situation and added more fuel to the fire with another Instagram story in which she called producers Adam Divello and Skyler Wakil as well as Nicole trash – accompanied by the SZA track I Hate U… Not exactly a subtle hint that she’s pissed off!
Chelsea shared another Instagram story too saying, ‘Hope everyone apart from Nicole Young has a great Sunday’ alongside a snap of her and Emma with the caption, ‘Protecting HER at all costs.’
Nicole then shared an Instagram story herself. ‘Instead of attacking me and accusing me of lying, I think you ladies need to ask your bestie some tough questions,' Nicole wrote on Saturday 31 August. 'Did she let you know she was directly confronted on camera at the season seven finale by the wife’s best friend? Even still, I stated this info as a rumour. And given both of you have been the victim of extramarital affairs, I would think you too would stand for the sanctity of marriage.'
