Without a doubt, Love Is Blind is one of the most chaotic shows on TV. The second US series has just finished - and it saw a return of the pods, filled with a load more single people claiming they had fallen in love with someone they'd never met. But while the show is filled with shocking twists and turns - Shayne and Natalie's fight! - sometimes some of the biggest plot twists don't make it to the final edit.
It turns out Natalie didn't just have Shayne propose to her after all. Shock, horror. Yep, producers left a fairly huge part out of Natalie's storyline - somebody popped the question way before Shayne did. Chris Coelen, the creator of the wild show, revealed all in an interview with Metro, saying that Natalie's path could have been very different.
’There was another guy who – very, very early on – was really interested in Natalie and basically proposed to her,' he said. 'It was very out of the blue but he just felt like he knew, and she was like, "This is just weird." She didn't have any deep feelings for him but he had developed very significant feelings for her.' So, want happened to the mystery man? 'Anyway, she said no and he left, and that was that,' Chris added.
Huge spoiler alert for season two, but those watching the show will know that Shayne and Natalie, who seemed like a very strong couple, didn't tie the knot at the end of the series, with the pair getting into an huge fight the day before their wedding. Since, the pair have wrote posts to each other on Instagram, with Shayne since apologising for his actions. He wrote: 'As a man watching our story over again I'm remorseful for my actions and all I can do is learn from them to be a better man. I'm proud of being vulnerable and being as genuine as possible. I don't know what's next for us but I do know that I will never stop loving you.' Well, we'll have to see what's next for the couple following tomorrow's reunion episode...
