The internet went into meltdown after it was revealed that fashion blogger Kaz Kamwi was facing the chop.
On last night’s Love Island we watched the islanders enjoying a beach club day party. However, the fun was cut short after the arrival of host Laura Whitmore and news of a dumping.
Now avid love island viewers will know that from experience – beach clubs just equal trouble. On Love Island there will be no fun had at any beach clubs, ever. From season 5 when Joanna Chimonides was dumped, to season 2’s when Rykard Jenkins quit to be with Rachel… beach clubs are just full of drama!
The public results were revealed after asking them to vote for their favourite boy and favourite girl.
The girls with the fewest votes were Mary, Abi and Kaz – leaving Kaz in the bottom three.
Whilst the boys with the lowest votes were Dale, Tyler and Jake.
Many viewers were quick to call out the Love Island producers for conveniently closing the voting on Thursday – before hurricane Faye arrived on Friday’s episode. Faye went unscathed from the brutal elimination this time.
After Matthew delivered the shortest (and most hilarious) breakup speech in history to Kaz - many fans turned against her for the way she handled the love triangle between her, Tyler and Matthew.
However, during the latest unseen bits episode on Saturday we saw Kaz having many chats with the girls, pondering on whether she handled it correctly and about Matthew’s lack of effort.
Many fans took to Twitter to share their frustration at Kaz being given the ‘villain edit’ by producers, when Matthew was not that keen on her any way. They also questioned why key clips were missed out from the main show and would have provided more context to how she handled it. In the main show it came across like the was quite heartless and cut-throat, when in reality it was far from that.
Tonight at 9pm we will see the fate of fan favourite Kaz. Whatever the outcome, the internet will have a lot to say...
