Love Island: Is It Just Us Or Is EVERYONE Ron’s Type?

It's not hard to tick his boxes, apparently.

Ron

'I don't have a type. I go for personality.' 'Tall, dark and handsome.' 'Funny, I love someone who can make me laugh.'

These are just a handful of the responses to the Love Island starter pack question, 'What's your type?' we've heard this series.

But someone who appears to be struggling to nail down his type on paper is Essex's self-proclaimed nice boy Ron Hall. The moment we thought he put his eggs firmly into Lana Jenkins' basket, his head swivelled. Again. The poor boy is going to get neck ache at this rate.

On Friday, Ron, 25, and Lana also 25 - who were coupled up initially but have been doing a lot of back and forth of late - sat down for a heart-to-heart, during which he called the Luton-based make-up artist the 'whole picture' and reassured her that she was his focus.

The profession was followed up by their first proper kiss and pleas from viewers that he sticks to his assurances this time.

In need of a recap? Ron's eyes have previously wandered to Zara Deniz Lackenby-Brown - who he said 'had it all' - and he enjoyed a brief flirtation with Tanyel Revan, before admitting his mind was so 'f*cked' when Aussie bombshell Jessie Wynter entered. Oh, and he's also spent time 'getting to know' Ellie Spence.

And on Sunday, Ron's indecisiveness was back with a vengeance when the latest arrival, brunette Samie Elishi, surprised the boys around the fire pit.

He called the 22-year-old estate agent coordinator '100 per cent' his type, adding that he's 'not completely turned off'.

He told Shaq Muhammad, 'Yes, the temptation is there, she is 100% my type, and do I want to get into trouble with Lana again? I don't think so, it's just about temptation.'

In the beach hut, he continued, '[Samie] is petite, brunette. If I could draw what my type is, that's her.'

Meanwhile, Shaq was there with some insight for his fellow Islander. 'I'm actually worried about you. If you do go there [with Samie], you're giving up Lana to go there,' he said.

Referencing Ron's head-turning, someone wrote on Twitter, '“She’s literally my type on paper” EVERYONE IS YOUR TYPE ON PAPER RON!' as another laughed at how the boys were having to step in and 'talk him down'.

'Ron how many types do you have I need to know,' a third joked, with a fourth suggesting, 'Ron just needs to admit to himself that he doesn’t like Lana enough, or else his head wouldn’t turn for every bombshell under the sun that comes in'.
