Did you know that two of the finest princesses in the land celebrate their birthday on August 4? Yep, Meghan Markle and Love Island winner Amber Rose Gill were born on the very same day. Amazing, right?

It also seems rather fitting that Amber celebrates her birthday on the very same day that Love Island: The Reunion gathers 35 of this year’s Islanders together for an hour of love-ins and awkwardness. A cute little get together before they all set sail and enjoy a life full of nightclub PAs, sponsored posts, glitzy mag deals and daytime presenting slots (yep, we’re looking at you, Maura Higgins).

In tonight’s show, Caroline Flack and Iain Stirling will reflect back on the past two months and there will be plenty of awkwardness to look forward to as Amy Hart will reunite with Curtis Pritchard for the very first time since she got the first flight home back home to Blighty after he broke her heart. Amber, who is now living her best life with fellow winner Greg O’Shea, will also have a lovely chat with former flame Michael Griffiths.

We’ll also get an update on Molly-Mae and Tommy Fury - who have stayed very quiet since leaving the villa - and Maura takes Curtis home to Ireland.

Oh and King Ovie will be reunited with his basketball pals and cooks up a storm for his family and beau India.

What more would you want from a Sunday evening?

At least the Islanders will still be able to gossip about each other’s antics in the mammoth Whatsapp group chat they’re all a part of. Oh, and we’ve got the Winter series to look forward to...
