Maura Higgins is set to make as much of an impact outside the Love Island villa as she did on the show. The 28-year-old Irish woman from Co. Longford has landed a job on ITV’s This Morning as a phone-in agony aunt, which makes perfect sense considering she quickly became popular for her matter-of-factness in the villa. According to the Mirror, Maura will also take part in a challenge segment called Maura Than Meets The Eye.
The Love Island finalist who finished fourth, is excited to get started, telling the Mirror: “I’m getting flutters about joining This Morning. I can’t believe it. It’s beyond my wildest dreams.” She’s not the only one excited. Many Maura and Love Island fans took to twitter to congratulate her.
Since the islanders have left the villa, there has been a lot of speculation as to what they’ll do next. Amy Hart’s appearance on the Loose Women panel impressed a lot of viewers and there was talk that she might be offered a regular spot.
We can’t way to see how all the now ex-islanders get on with life afterwards, with many of the popular contestants like winners Amber and Greg, and the beloved Ovie sure to stick around.

Did you know Olivia Attwood used to compete in beauty pagents? Of course you did. Liv is more glam than Amy Childs having a gold-plated mani, tbh.
