For anybody in the radius of a TV set, the past six and a bit weeks have been exhausting - as hours and hours of our lives have been lost to Love Island. We have howled with laughter at Ovie’s jokes, been infuriated by Michael’s ‘CHILDASH!’ behaviour and cried with Amywhen she told Curtis she was leaving the villa. It's been very, very emotional.
And now, it looks like we only have (less than) two weeks to go before we grant our winners £50k - because even though ITV haven’t confirmed anything just yet,Iain Stirlingaccidentally let the date slip last night.
After making a jokey dig at Ovie, the voiceover told us that he 'only had 13 episodes to make these jokes', which - if everything goes to plan - makes the finale date Monday, July 29.
Want to be there as much as we do? Tickets for the live final in Majorca are available to order via Applause Store - and they’re totally free. All you need to do is register to the website, and then request a ticket, which will be sent via email. (Though the site advises people to only apply if they are going to be in Spain already, as there are a limited number available.) Apply here.
According to Ladbrokes, the current faves to scoop the crown - at odds of ⅙ - are Tommy and Molly-Mae. (But, if you’re wondering, we definitely want Amber and Ovie to win to as the first friendship champions.)
