What is Chuggs' real name?
We hate to break it to you, but Chuggs isn't actually Chuggs' name. The star was born Oliver George Lee Wallis.
Opening up about his unusual nickname while appearing on Love Island, Chuggs - or should we say Oliver - told Sharon Gaffka that it's a name he's had since he was a child. 'It's my nickname, like a baby name,' he explained. 'Cuddles and hugs.' How sweet.

Chuggs was originally born in Weybridge, Surrey. He's described as growing up with 'two equally competitive brothers and a passion for rugby.'

He's a busy man! Chuggs plays rugby for Reeds Weybridge, as well as owning his own business. When was Chuggs on Love Island?
Chuggs first entered the villa in 2021 for season seven of the show, when he was just 22 years old. He kickstarted his Love Island journey as a bombshell, joining the show on day four alongside Liam Reardon. While he initially set his sights on Faye Winter, things didn't quite go to plan. Chuggs was left single and dumped from the villa on day six, concluding his short but sweet Love Island journey.
Of course, he gave love another go earlier this year when appearing on Love Island All Stars. Describing himself as having 'grown and developed so much as a person,' Chuggs explained, 'I'm done with the single phase of my life. I'm just looking for that support network, vice verse with whoever I'm with, and to enter that next chapter.' Sadly, his second stint was no more successful than his first. He was voted least popular by the public alongside Tina Stinnes (who's had her own MIC history), with the pair then dumped.
Has Chuggs been on Made In Chelsea before?
It turns out Chuggs isn't entirely new to the world of MIC. He first appeared on the show prior to Love Island, having appeared on the show's speed-dating in 2019.
He also runs in the same social circles as many of our MIC favourites, classing Tristan Phipps and David 'Temps' Templer as his best friends. So while Chuggs might be new to the cast of Made in Chelsea, he certainly isn't new to their world.
