Love Island will and casey

The Casa Amor curse has struck once again on this year’s Love Island, tearing apart the hearts of viewers who were JUST starting to believe love does exist. Why? Because a teaser for tonight’s episode shows all the boys up to mischief, namely resident ‘nice guys’ Casey O’Gorman and Will Young.

That’s right, scored by Iain Stirling’s very tense ‘TOMORROW NIGHT’, the short clip shows Casey kissing one of the new girls and in a separate moment, Will also leaning into Layla to do, what looks like, the same. Is it a case of sneaky editing or is Will about to Michael Griffiths us? (remember when he ditched Amber for Joanna?) We hate to break it to you, but he's gone full Michael Griffiths. In a press release about the upcoming episode, ITV confirm that Will and Layla head to the terrace tonight and 'talk on the terrace also then turns to kisses outside of a challenge.' Be still our ruptured hearts.

Frankly, it’s wasn't looking good anyway. Will already admitted that he’s up for flirting and getting to know the new girls, with Casey equally stating that he hopes Claudia goes for it with the Casa Amor boys, because he certainly will be. The same Casey that verbatim said 'nice guys finish last' after Lana ended things with him to make things work with Ron. And what’s Claudia actually doing? Crying over Casey. Seriously. The 28-year-old became emotional in last night’s episode after realising that ‘something is really there’ with Casey and fretting over what he was doing with other girls.

Jessie has too been respectful so far, making it clear to the boys that they would have to be spectacular to even remotely turn her head – even repeating it to new boy Frankie who seems to have his heart set on the Australian bombshell.

It’s too early to call, but viewers are concerned that Jessie and Claudia are headed for heartbreak when the Casa Amor recoupling comes around. When is the Casa Amor recoupling? Well, judging by previous seasons, the ‘test’ lasts at least four episodes with an explosive reunion usually aired on the Friday evening – and the fallout that comes from it a reason to tune back in on Sunday night.

So, it looks as though we’ve got an entire week of watching our former nice guys flirt their way into breaking our girls’ hearts, on Valentine’s Day no less! We’ll be sure to cage up our hearts once again, Love Island forever proving that nice guys are as rare as red diamonds.
