If we were forced to go on a reality show, then we’d probably choose Bake Off. Noel Fielding and baking a fancy cake seems a lot nicer than being forced into a house with a load of people you don’t like Big Brother style or eating kangaroo testicles on I’m A Celeb. And it seems the upper echelons of UK celebrities agree, as the latest line-up really is something to behold.
Appearing on the Stand Up To Cancer version is the totally random (but amazing) line-up of Louis Theroux, Ovie Soko,This Morning’s Alison Hammond, as well as James Blunt, Richard Dreyfuss, Carol Vorderman, tennis player Johanna Konta and Queer Eye’s Tan France. We are expecting a wonderful array of cakes - and probably the most fashionable cake ever seen from Tan.
But oh no, that’s not it. Also taking part in the forthcoming series is EastEnders star Patsy Palmer (who recently shocked us all on The Masked Singer), actor Caroline Quentin, presenter Alex Jones, TV judge Rob Rinder, presenter Scarlett Moffatt, comedian Mo Gilligan, radio host Kelly Brook, Love Island star Ovie Soko, YouTuber Joe Sugg, comedians Joel Dommett and Russell Howard, actor James Buckley and author Jenny Eclair.
And the trailer for the series, which airs on March 10 on Channel 4, has just dropped.
There’s going to five episodes, with four celebrities battling for the Star Baker crown over three rounds – the usual Signature, the Technical and the Showstopper. Obviously, Prue Leith and Paul Hollywood will be back to judge the bakes, with Noel (his amazing jumpers{
