Yes, it might only be November 4 - but it's time to start thinking about Christmas. (As Mariah Carey knows all too wellChristmas advert has become one of the biggest - and most emotional - TV moments of the year. And 2021's advert, called Unexpected Guest, has just dropped. You can watch it below. But be warned, it might make you very teary at this time in the morning.
This year, there's a sci-fi twist, as the ad follows the story of an alien (Skye) who befriends a young boy called Nathan after she crashes on Earth. But during Skye's time on the planet, Nathan teaches her all about Christmas, stealing her mince pies from his family dinner and sitting outside to watch Christmas films with her. Spoiler alert: the advert ends as Skye as has to go back to her home planet - and we dare you not to cry.
