Quite unbelievably we are now in our THIRD national lockdown, which means so so many things. But it also means we are fast running out of decent TV shows to watch.
In reaction to this, you may have found the desperate WhatsApps have increased - 'WHAT SHOULD I WATCH NEXT?' they cry. And everyone seems to pile in with the same six TV shows you've all definitely watched. And then you end up watching the news, or, yknow, a blank wall. And that's just no good for the vibes is it?
Ok, so, you've done the oldies (do not even come to me recommending I watch The Soprano's, we've been in this for nearly 10 months now, that's so far done), and you've done the newbies - Bridgerton, A Teacher, The Serpent, BINGED. DONE.
We're going to have to dig deep to find some gems - but gems there still are to be found.
Luckily, the Grazia office is full of total TV addicts, so here is our list of TV shows you might've missed and now have the, well, the time to watch.
Best TV Series To Watch That You Might Have Missed
The Wilds (Amazon Prime )
'REALLY good, it's like Lost meets Mean Girls,' says Jess Barrett.
Two Doors Down (BBC iPlayer)
Honestly, I never would've watched this had it not been recommended by friends whose cultural opinion I always trust. So, let us be that friend to you. This Scottish half hour comedy will have you laughing like mad. And is a perfect half hour treat between the news (/horror show) and bedtime.
Real Housewives of Beverly Hills (Now TV)
'Watch from the start and you've got a good 200 hours of entertainment ahead of you and what could be better than that?' says Jess.
Power Book II: Ghost (Amazon Prime)
'For any Power fans, the new spin off Power Book II: Ghost is actually really good and has Mary J Blige - who is amazing - in,' says Georgia Aspinall.
Murder on Middle Beach (Sky / NOW TV)
For anyone not sure about how they feel about True Crime anymore, this is a great gamechanger as Madison Hamburg unpicks the complicated story of his own mother's life – and eventual murder – while interviewing his own family members.
Call My Agent (Netflix)
Please, please, try this show, you will love it, promise. Just try one. It's a French comedy (WAIT!) about a group of agents to film stars - each episode features a movie star (think Extras) and it'll have you laughing, crying and longing for a trip to Paris.
Outer Banks (Netflix)
On an island of haves and have-nots, teen John B enlists his three best friends to hunt for a legendary treasure linked to his father's disappearance.
Misfits (All 4 and Netflix)
A UK classic that probably doesn't get the credit it deserves – one where you'll constantly be like, 'Oh that's where they're from!'
Six Feet Under (Sky / Now TV)
'So brilliant but hardly ever gets mentioned,' says Jenny Croall.
The Let Down (Netflix)
'This is the show for anyone who loves Motherland and is a stressed parent – basically all of us right now!' says Nathan Higham
Married at first sight Australia (E4 and All4)
A new series is starting up too of this Australian gem… The antipodean version is like our version, but kind of mixed with Love Island. And we're into it. A new crew also are, so come join.
Togetherness (Sky / Now TV)
The trials and tribulations of two couples living under the same roof trying to keep their dreams alive while not wrecking everything around them.
Broad City (Amazon Prime)
Chances are you will have seen and even shared all the memable moments in this genius show following two 20-something best friends.
Bold Type (Amazon Prime)
A glimpse into the outrageous lives and loves of those responsible for the global women's magazine, "Scarlet."
High Fidelity (Amazon Prime)
'I would watch Zoe Kravitz do anything,' says Laura Jordan. Yeah, fair play actually...
60 Days In
'It's a jail documentary where they send volunteers into prison to report on contraband, gangs and jail operations. It is literally so dramatic and very American but so bingeable... I watched a whole season in like two days,' says Georgia. 'Season 2 is on Netflix right now and then seasons 5 and 6 on Prime but it's reality so you don't have to watch it in order.'
Californication (Sky / NOW TV)
Every woman of a certain age will always have a David Duchovny thing left over from X Files – so enjoy this series where he plays troubled author Hank Moody, who moved from New York to LA.
Pose (S1 and 2 on iPlayer)
Not enough people have watched this amazing series set in the underground world of 1980s New York ball culture. So if it's been on your culture to-do list for a while, now's the time.
The Shield (Amazon Prime)
The Wire's forgotten little brother.
Two Broke Girls (Amazon Prime)
If you need a half hour sitcom easy watch you might not have already seen 17 times, give this a go. See also Don't Trust the B In Apartment 23.
Love (Netflix)
A forgotten gem it's worth going back to.
Reign (Netflix)
'If you're a sucker for a romantic costume series try Reign!' says Annie Vischer. 'It's based (VERY loosely) on the story of Mary Queen of Scots and begins during her time at the French court (we're talking mid 1500s so think Tudor style dresses). There are four seasons to get through and each one is bursting with romantic forest scapes, castles and jewel tones – perfect winter viewing. A little cheesy at times but no more so than Bridgerton.'
Veronica Mars (Amazon / Starzplay)
Before we knew Kristen Bell from our endless repeats of Frozen (just our house?), she was Veronica Mars, teenage private eye. We feel like we missed this teen-show by being a bit older the first time round and now we've regressed, it might be perfect.
