And Just Like That is nearing the end of its first chapter – we can’t believe it’s nearly all over! After anticipating this reboot for so long, it almost feels like it’s come and gone by so quickly. Season 1 will come to a close on Thursday with (hopefully) an explosive season finale. But will they actually be able to tie up all the loose ends and unanswered questions in one episode? Well, the episode is titled ‘Seeing the light,’ so hopefully it will bring a lot of closure for all the leading ladies.
The trailer for the finale was released this weekend and it look’s like we will have a lot to digest. Here are our key takeaways from the finale trailer...
Carrie Bradshaw
Carrie has certainly been through a rough journey this season. Not only did she lose her husband, Mr Big, but she also witnessed his death. Since then, her journey this season has been all about healing. In the finale it seems like she will be taking her final steps towards doing just that – deciding where she wants to spread Big’s remains. In true Carrie fashion - they are currently next to her best pair of shoes. However, it looks like in this episode she will make her final choice and get some closure.
It appears Carrie will also take things further with her new love interest Peter, the Maths teacher. After deciding in episode 9 to take her wedding ring off, in the finale it looks like they will be getting more intimate. The finale set's Carrie up on her journey to moving forward and we love to see that.
Miranda Hobbes
Miranda’s relationship choiceshave certainly started a virtual revolution – the 'Steve deserves better'online campaign is strong. However, it seems like Miranda and Che’s romance might be over for good. Although Che appears to introduce Miranda to her family (which is a big step), it seems like Mirandais still trying to navigate her next move. Does she stay and be with Che or does she go for her dream internship? We also get the feeling we will be left on a cliff-hanger but hopefully not…
Seema and Tony the Prada guy
There have been a lot of comparisons flying around about Seema Patel and the departed fan favourite Samantha Jones. Now, whether you think that’s a fair comparison or not, you have to admit she gives off major confident Samantha vibes - doing just about anything. But this was especially evident when she was flirting with the Club owner Zed aka Tony the Prada guy. In the finale trailer it looks like they will be taking things to the next level as we see a short clip of them hooking up! Whatever happens next we are so here for a potential relationship between the two.
