These Competition terms and conditions should be read together with, and are in addition to, H Bauer Publishing Limited’s standard terms and conditions at the “General Terms”. Together these specific competition terms and conditions and the General Terms shall be referred to as the “Terms”. Where there is a conflict between these terms and the General Terms, these terms shall prevail. Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have read and accepted these Specific Rules and the Competition Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them.

ITEM 1: COMPETITION NAME

ITEM 4: COMPETITION START DATE AND END DATE

Start Date: Tuesday 7th May 00:01am (for both SMS and Postal entries)

SMS End Date: Tuesday 4th June 11.59pm

Postal End Date: Friday 7th June 2019 at 17:00pm

(the “Entry Period”).

Any postal entries not received at the postal address for entries by this time will be invalid and shall not be included within the draw. For the avoidance of doubt, any entries received before or after the End Date (as stated above) will be invalid but you may still be charged.

ITEM 5: DRAW DETAILS

Once the Entry Period for both routes of entry has closed, a random automated draw of all registered, qualifying entrants will take place and one entry will be selected as the winner. The Promoter shall call the phone number provided by the Entrant as part of their entry to contact the entrant and notify them that they have won the prize.

If the winner cannot be contacted within 28 days from the date of the initial attempt to contact them then we will re-draw until we draw a winner who accepts the prize and that we are satisfied (in our sole discretion) fulfils all of the eligibility criteria and is in compliance with these Terms.

ITEM 6: ENTRANT RESTRICTIONS

You can enter the competition a maximum of 6 times via SMS (including free entries, as detailed in Item 7 below) and a maximum of 6 individual entries via post. Entrants must obtain permission from the bill payer before texting to enter the Competition.

The Competition is only open to people aged 18 and over who: (i) live in the United Kingdom or ROI, (ii) are not one of our or our subsidiary’s employees (or living with, or related to, one of our or our subsidiary’s employees) and (iii) are not one the employees of any company associated with the competition (or living with, or related to, one of the employees).

Entrants are only able to win a single prize throughout the duration of this Competition. There is no limit on the value of a single prize that may be provided to the individual winner of a Competition. However, no person may win more than one prize valued at £500 or more via any of our Competitions in any six (6) month period. A winner may continue to receive SMS messages in relation to the Competition and invitations to enter the Competition. For the avoidance of doubt, a winner should not enter the Competition again if they have already won in the previous six (6) months as they are ineligible to win. If a previous winner is drawn at random in a subsequent competition, or subsequent round of the same competition, they will be disqualified, and another entrant will be drawn at random. If it emerges after a winner has been awarded a Prize that they are a previous winner, in breach of these terms and conditions, they will be excluded and the Prize shall not be paid to them. If the Prize has already been paid, this must be returned immediately upon request.

If your message does not start with the valid keyword(s), or is not sent to the valid number, it will not be entered in to the draw. You will receive an automated SMS response to your SMS message confirming your entry.

You are responsible for all costs associated with entering this competition. Texts cost £1.50 (from the UK) + standard network rate. You must have permission from the bill payer before sending. Postal entry is free.

Once you’ve sent an entry text, you’ll receive an auto-response confirming your entry. You will then have the chance to text: GRAZIA to 65115, again (at a further cost of £1.50 + standard network rate) and you will be entered 2 more times – your ‘3rd’ entry being free. You must do this before the closing date of the competition, otherwise you will not be eligible for your ‘3rd’ entry being free.

Entrants must enter during the Entry Period of the Competition. Any entries received outside of the Entry Period will not be entered but may still be charged. ITEM 8: WINNER ANNOUNCEMENT

The Entrant who is randomly selected will be contacted personally after the Entry Period, as stated above, closes. By entering the Competition, you are automatically consenting to being called and having your name and location printed in our magazines.

The name and the hometown of the winner may also be posted on the Promoter’s website and / or social media platforms after they have been confirmed.

ITEM 9: PRIZE DETAILS

One winner will receive the following prize (the “Prize”):

The Prize is provided by Destinology (the “Prize Provider”). We are not responsible for any aspect of the Prize, including unsatisfactory quality or late delivery or a prize winner being unable to take up any aspect, or the entirety of the prize due to their own circumstances or restrictions.

The Prize is valid for the period of one year from it being awarded, subject to availability and confirmation and excluding October half term, Easter school holidays, and the months of July and August.

Flights from regional airports may be available upon request (at the discretion of the Prize Provider), but may incur a surcharge if the air fare is greater than from a London airport.

You must be able to take the Prize on the dates above as stated, or on those dates otherwise offered by the Prize Provider, which may be subject to change and are at all times subject to availability. If you are unable to accept the Prize of the dates offered, we reserve the right to withdraw it and award the Prize to another entrant.

Both passengers must be over the age of 18, hold valid passports with 6 months validity period prior to travel. You will be responsible for ensuring that you (and any of your guests) have a valid, in-date passport for travelling and are also responsible for securing and paying for any and all visas required for travel. You will also be responsible for sourcing and paying for any vaccinations or other medical provisions required for travel, for both you and your guests.

Unless expressly stated, the cost of any spending money, food, drink or any other sustenance is not included. Any additions or upgrades to flights, accommodation or otherwise are not included in the Prize and will be the sole responsibility of a prize winner, or any of their guests, to secure and pay for.

Unless expressly stated the cost of travel to and from the relevant airports are not included in the Prize, no airport transfers are included.

Any other excursions or activities which may be available on the holiday, but are not expressly mentioned in these Terms, are not provided for or included within the prize. The cost of any such excursions or activities are the sole responsibility of the prize winner and any guest. We accept no liability for any such activities undertaken by a prize winner or their guest whilst taking up the Prize.

Travel insurance is not included as part of the Prize and is the responsibility of the prize winner and any of their guest to secure and to pay for.

It is your responsibility to ensure that you (and any of your guests) are fit, well and able to travel. We reserve the right to withdraw the prize from a prize winner and re-award the prize to another entrant where health reasons or concerns prevent a prize winner (or any of their guests) from taking up the Prize.

The prize is non-transferable, once tickets are issued no date changes are permitted and no cash alternative is available. If the winner cancels the holiday after flight tickets have been issued, the winner will the liable for any charges, which could amount to the full cost of the flights. The value of the Prize is 3,136 EUR (+ flights).

Delivery or payment of the Prize is subject to the winner providing personal identification and / or proof of address and to internal compliance checks. The Prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged. Delivery of the Prize may take up to 28 days from the date the winner is notified.

Where, it emerges after the Prize has been awarded that the entrant was in breach of these terms and conditions, we reserve the right to withdraw the Prize from that winner and they will not be entitled to any further reward or remuneration. We reserve the right to exclude individuals who breach our terms and conditions from entering our competitions.

ITEM 11: OTHER CONDITIONS

We will only accept entries that comply with our terms and conditions and we may disqualify you if we know or suspect that you have breached them. Our decision on the selection of the winner is final and we won’t engage in any correspondence or discussion about this or about the operation of this competition. We are not responsible for any network or technical issues you experience, such as latency of your mobile phone network, which may delay or prevent your participation. We have the right to cancel, amend, terminate or suspend this competition if forced to do so due to circumstances outside our control. You are responsible for all costs of entry and where necessary, obtaining the bill payer’s permission.
