Remember at the beginning of lockdown when we all thought the workplace going virtual meant our life was about to be embarrassment free? Yeah, that hasn't quite worked out. It turns out, just like you can make an absolute tit of yourself in the office, even when all you have to worry about is your shoulders-up appearance.

We were reminded of that this week when 'cat lawyer' went viral. Rod Ponton, a county attorney in Presidio County, Texas, found himself unable to turn off the cat filter on his Zoom call during a hearing on Tuesday - an video that of course, instantly went viral. Particularly the part where he had to clarify to the judge that is he, in fact, 'not a cat'.

It's not the first Zoom mis-hap that has gone viral in the last 12 months, from toddlers running into backgrounds to worryingly-frequent incidents of indecent exposure mid-meeting (Remember that guy who literally got a shower with his camera still on during a meeting?!), humans have continued to make absolute fools of themselves even from their own homes.
