If you’re fed up with the seemingly endless over-edited selfies and artfully shot brunch snaps dominating Instagram, we have something a little different for you.

Introducing Accidentally Wes Anderson - an account celebrating locations around the world that fit the much-loved director’s recognisable aesthetic.

Accidentally Wes Anderson showcases architecture, interiors and landscapes across the globe that appear to have been taken straight from The Grand Budapest Hotel, The Royal Tenenbaums or The Darjeeling Limited. Think pastel colours, pleasing symmetry, whimsical settings and a touch of nostalgia.

Inspired by a Reddit subcategory called ‘Accidental Wes Anderson’, Wally Koval set about creating a dedicated edited curation of the best images alongside some background information about the places. The account, which now has nearly 20,000 followers, has been growing at a rapid rate, and Koval now receives multiple submission daily, Vogue US reported.

Popular images so far include a millennial pink patisserie in Warsaw, Poland, an ornate duck egg blue palace in St Petersburg, Russia, and a picture perfect lighthouse atop an island in Maine.
