Just weeks after Christine Quinn announced her first pregnancy, with husband Christian Richard, it's now also been announced that Selling Sunset is about to start filming series four and five of the popular Netflix show.

The last time we saw the Oppenheim Group Real Estate crew, they had just been to Christine's wedding, and all was not well between the group.

And it seems to have continued - Christine recently put a TikTok video up showing that Selling Sunset stars Chrishell Stause, Heather Rae Young and Mary Fitzgerald hadn't liked or commented on her Instagram post revealing her pregnancy.

Throw Christine's pregnancy into the mix and it's bound to be a busy few months for the Reality star. But she took some time to catch up with Grazia first...

Congratulations on your pregnancy - how are you feeling?

My first trimester I was super energized. Right now I’m at the point where I’m getting tired and I hate that for myself because I love working out, I love exercising, but I find myself sleeping more than I ever have. But I’m listening to my body and what it needs, and right now it needs sleep so I’m just taking advantage of it because I know when the baby comes I’m not going to be getting much sleep.

You got pregnant in lockdown, did you enjoy keeping it secret?

We figured it was the perfect time to start trying and I got pregnant really quickly, but I didn’t start showing until I was about five and a half months and even then it wasn’t super big. So I thought let’s wait until I have a big belly and can make a big announcement. It’s been great. It was one of those things that I was lucky to get away with for a while. There was a point where I was like, ‘Do I even want to announce it?’ like do a Kylie Jenner type thing. But then I thought it would fun and a really good moment to share with other women what I went through and I want to get their advice on what they went through and talk openly. During lockdown I wasn’t able to see people, so I became really lonely and started getting really close with pregnant moms around me and celebrities around me who I told before I came out. Everyone’s been so supportive, it’s just been a great experience.

What you most excited about?

I’m definitely excited about the outfit and cute baby clothes – and creating the nursery because I love to design. But also raising a human and instilling wonderful values and morals in them. My husband’s bilingual and speaks French, so we’re going to teach the baby French – just all these wonderful things I can’t wait to share with the baby. I feel like my husband is very intellectual and stable and I’m creative and all over the place artistically so I feel like we’re the perfect balance as parents that we can share.

How are you finding dressing a changing body?

I find that everything fits a little differently because my boobs are getting so much bigger and my boobs are getting bigger and the only thing I’m able to wear at this point is stretchy dresses and bodycon things. Jeans don’t fit anymore or pants, so I find it easier to wear one-piece dresses.

Would you ever consider now starting a maternity clothes line?

Definitely, I started buying some maternity clothes but they’re not glam and they’re also not fitted in the hips or waist. I like to show off my body and I just found the maternity clothes weren’t fitting right, so I’m just sticking with regular dresses and going a size up. It’s something I’d love to get involved in because I love clothes and glamming people and myself. I’d never say never.

How are you feeling about filming series four and five of Selling Sunset when you're due to give birth soon?

We just announced two seasons and I’m obviously going to have my baby while we’re filming. There’s not a lot of people who get to share those moments so it’s going to be quite a challenging season for me to say the least. I’m going to be working full time, as well as filming full time, on top of having the baby, on top of being a mom, on top of being an entrepreneur. But I’m all for a good challenge and I feel like I of all people will be able to multi-task and deal with it. The only thing I don’t know if what my recovery time will be. It’s all about listening to my body and if I need to take time off filming for two weeks to do that… I’m not really sure how I’m going to bounce back. But that’s why I’ve been trying to do yoga as much as I can just to keep my body in shape and keep moving so I’ll be a little bit more prepared. So it’s going to be a busy half of the year to say the least.

Have you thought about how much you'll let the cameras in? Would you give birth on the show?

It’s one of those things I’ve seen on TV and been like, ‘Wow it’s so beautiful and inspiring’ and Khloe Kardashian did it and Sheree from Bling Empire and I thought I could never imagine doing that because I’m so worried about looking vulnerable and having make up on… but when you become a mom and have this baby growing inside of you, you realise the things that do and don’t matter. So before I was pregnant, I thought ‘I don’t know if I could do that and not be glam’ but now it’s one of those things that I might be open to because if I’m able to inspire people or motivate them or give them a raw, more vulnerable side to me, it’s something I’d definitely be open to doing. I’m not really sure – I’ve not given it much thought, but I do think it’s something people would love to see and I’m definitely open to sharing it with them. It just depends how I feel.

You posted recently you were upset certain cast mates didn't like or comment on your post revealing you were pregnant - how are you feeling about that?

It was definitely disappointing to me. It’s just one of those things where I don’t appreciate being used as a headline. When you’re congratulating me in the press but not liking a post of sending a comment… I gave them a few days and I was just surprised and disappointed. I knew they saw it. It just really hurt my feelings. It’s just such a big milestone in your life and I was hoping for so much more. I was making a joke [with my post] but it did hurt my feelings for sure to read headlines about people congratulating me then making passive aggressive comments like, ‘I hope it makes her softer’. I wanted to call them out. I didn’t get a comment or a heart even on the most incredible note, so it was hard. I was disappointed.

Your wedding was a show-stopper... What will your baby shower be like?

Absolutely – my planner and I are already working on it, scouting venues, thinking of themes. I already have a date – I don’t have formal invitations but I’ve asked a lot of people to come. A lot of the cast from Bling Empire and I have become close – Kelly and Christine knew about my pregnancy before it came out. So it’s going to be a fun, star-studded event. I’d love to have it on camera, it’s probably definitely going to be on camera. It’s going to be quite the baby shower – something like no-one’s ever seen…
