Tonight - in the coveted post news, Friday night slot - The Chris & Rosie Ramsey show returns for a second series.

Sitting down with couple Joel Dommett and Hannah Cooper the show will be familiar territory for fans of the couple, poking fun at life, relationships, annoyances, parenting and absolutely everything in-between.

Their podcast, Sh**ged.Married.Annoyed, is one of the most popular podcasts in the UK with over 145 million downloads, and there's about to be an arena tour.

Juggling it all around family life, they're busy people... So we just about managed to sit them down for a quick game of Mr & Mrs, after which we also sat them down to ask them to answer a few questions together over email...

You’ve broken records with your live pod shows and are now returning with your next TV show... how does it affect your marriage and day-day lives knowing it’s all about your relationship together?

We’re extremely open people so sharing things about your marriage isn’t unusual or strange to us. The podcast and tv show also delves deep into our listeners and watchers relationships so it feels like we’re all sharing together!

Have you ever stopped mid-fight and said, this’d be good for the next episode?

No, we very much finish our fights! Haha. I (Rosie) usually like to get the last word not gonna lie. We have however not told stories we’ve heard from friends so we can hear it fresh on the podcast. That actually happens quite a lot.

How much do the kids know about your careers as celebs? What do they make of it?

Robin our eldest (seven) understands that we have a podcast and that we’re sometimes on the telly, but he has no idea what we actually do or what the context is. He says he wants to be a comedian when he’s older but he might not fancy it once he sees a tour schedule... Rafe our youngest (two) is currently loving watching us on CBeebies bedtime stories, that’s really cute.

Some couples would hate working so closely together, how do you find that balance?

We genuinely enjoy each others company I guess? We have become very good at separating work and home life. We’re not allowed to talk about work after 5pm or before 9am (even if we are sitting watching Minions with the kids from 6am)

What’s your biggest tip for surviving the six weeks of summer holidays?

Play dates! Have other peoples kids for the day then they will reciprocate and you’ll get some child free time (wooo!) Other than that I’ve found that my kids just enjoy exploring rather than a full on day out with activities. Often our best days of the summer holidays have been down South Shields sea front eating a picnic in the car boot.

What would be the one thing you would tell a new parent to buy?

If you’re not breastfeeding then I’d defo say the Tommee Tippee perfect prep. Used it for both my boys and I swore by it!

What’s your top tip for still liking each other after two kids?

Once you admit that having kids is really bloody hard it makes it easier to understand why life can often feel overwhelming. We try to relish in the moments when we are enjoying life together and try to remember those moments in times of sheer misery!

Whose relationship beef would you love to sort out in a dream world?

John Kransinski and Emily Blunt! OR the Obamas.

The Chris & Rosie Ramsey Show returns at 10.40pm, Friday 12th May on BBC One / BBC iPlayer.  Their new Sh**ged.Married.Annoyed. podcast arena tour starts in November
