When I became a parent, I followed the usual trend of becoming obsessed with wake windows, milestones and weaning recipes, but I also developed another unexpected obsession: deal hunting. Given the amount of stuff babies need, plus the frequency with which they need it, I had to get savvy. I might have taken a break from scouring the web for discounts during my work days, but instead I found myself spending overnight feeds and contact naps comparing retailers, signing up for emails to snag that elusive discount code, and filtering through the online sale racks with a fine-tooth comb, all in the name of getting the very best price.
The MVP of baby stuff retailers? Amazon, of course. Being a Prime member has saved my bacon many times, whether it's to buy the next size up in bottle teats because baby is refusing the bottle, or yet another sleep sack to save me doing 50 loads of washing a day - both of which I needed ASAP, obviously. It should come as no surprise, then, to hear that Amazon Prime Day is one of my favourite shopping events of the year to bag a bargain, and luckily for me (and you), another has just arrived.
Yes, Prime Day is officially here, running from 8th July to 11th July. That's four days of savings - for Prime members only - on everything from cots and prams to nappies and wipes, so it's the ideal time to tick some things off your wishlist or stock up on the essentials.
In this modern age, parents have to stick together, so as your self-appointed sale fairy godmother, I'll be taking some of the mental load off your plate throughout Prime Day by hand-selecting the products that will make your life easier and are an excellent deal, too. And that's not all - I've also quizzed my parent besties to find out what items they're looking to snap up this year, the ones they would buy again in a heartbeat, and their tried-and-true go-tos they always recommend to other parents. It takes a village, after all.
I'll be updating this piece over the next four days with my most exciting finds, so keep scrolling to save.

Can baby wipes be cult-followed? If they are, WaterWipes definitely takes the top spot. A must-have for those early days, these have just the right level of moisture to make sure you can clean your little one up nicely, and are gentle on skin. Worth buying in bulk as you will go through so many.

We switched from Water Wipes to Pampers Harmonie Aqua, mostly because of the leak-proof packet design - so easy to just get one wipe out and they never dry out! Plus, we didn't need our wipes to be quite so wet once our little one was slightly older. They're the perfect thickness and softness, and they keep the skin moisturised and clean. This is an excellent price for so many wipes, and I will be adding it to my basket immediately!

I said I'd never suck snot out of my babies nose but sure enough, he was 12 weeks old when he caught his first cold and there I was, using this genius product to help him breathe better at night. I still use it now (he's 11 months), and so many parents have recommended it to me, also.

When is Amazon Prime Day 2025?
Amazon Prime Day 2025 is happening right now, from Tuesday, 8th July to Friday, 11th July. The sale will run for four days, whereas in previous years it's lasted for two days, meaning you've got more time to shop the best baby deals.
Do baby items go on sale for Prime Day?
Absolutely. I've been covering Prime Day sales since 2019, and have always found that the baby products category is one of the biggest and most exciting categories to shop and save. The range of products is particularly impressive, with more expensive items like baby monitors, car seats, strollers and cots on offer. We should also find deals on essentials such as nappies and wipes, along with larger toys, gift sets and bath toys, if you're looking for gifting options.
What deals can you expect from Amazon Prime Day 2025?
Many of the biggest baby brands take part in Amazon Prime Day, so you should expect to see discounts on Tommee Tippee, Graco, Tutti Bambini, Silver Cross, Philips, MAM, Nuby, Pampers, Water Wipes and many more. I also predict there will be savings across toys and entertainment, with everything from Yoto players and Tonieboxes to Fisher-Price play gyms and playmats.
Is Prime Day actually cheaper?
The truthful answer is that it depends on what you're shopping for and how soon you need it. Generally, Prime Day offers shoppers a great discount on a lot of products and means you don't have to wait until November to save. Prices do fluctuate over the year and with other sales events (Spring Sale, Black Friday etc), there is a chance that it won't be the cheapest the item will ever be, but there's also no guarantee it will be cheaper on Black Friday, either, due to variables like stock levels, the newness of the model, etc.
If you have your heart set on something large and expensive, it's worth adding it to your basket a few months in advance to see how the price changes over a longer period of time, or utilise a price history checker so you can be sure.
How to make the most of Amazon Prime Day baby deals
Make a wishlist
It can be easy to get distracted by all the shiny deals, which can mean you miss out on the things you actually came for. Add the products you know you'd like to buy to your basket ahead of time means you can keep an eye on the price, and not end up overspending.
Utilise Amazon's Baby Wishlist
One extra benefit of buying baby products on Prime Day, if you're currently expecting or have a newborn, is that you can use Amazon's Baby Wishlist to get an extra 15% discount on eligible items. I used this a lot while pregnant and during my little one's first few months and it's a great added bonus. You need to be signed up for 14 days before the discount becomes active, so make sure to do that in advance.
Filtering is your friend
Amazon is a bit of a minefield with a sea of products to wade through. You can use the site's categories to find exactly what you need, as well as filtering for only top-reviewed products or brands to ensure you end up with what you actually want. Or... just bookmark this page for later and know that the hard work is all taken care of.
Have a budget and stick to it
Set a limit that allows you to splurge wisely. If you need a little wiggle room for a 'treat yourself' moment, I won't judge (this is actually my personal formula for sale shopping), but you don't want to do yourself (or your bank balance) a disservice.
