Choosing a Halloween costume can be tricky (do you really commit, fake blood and all or do you half-heartedly whack on a pair of cat ears?), so why not make it a group decision? After all, two heads - or three or eight - are better than one, especially on All Hallows Eve. So here's our favourite en masse costume ideas for you and your gang.
1. Mean Girls
So many outits to choose from. You could go all-out and opt for the Halloween scene, or keep it classic and wear matching pink. Extra points for anyone who makes their own Burn Book.
2. The Barden Bellas from Pitch Perfect
Aca-scuse me? Prepare your own a cappella version of Beyoncé's Halo as your party trick. Or, perhaps not. Brownie points to those that dare learn the choreography, though.
3. Heathers
80's movies don't come much cooler than Heathers. Shoulder pads and crimpers are your crew's go-to tools for channeling the orginal Mean Girls.
4. The March Sisters from Little Women
Gowns, bonnets and wicker baskets – what's not to love? Plus, chances are you already have something in your wardrobe that could work.
5. Romy and Michele's High School Reunion
If it's just you and your BFF then it's got to be Romy and Michele. Recreate their reunion look in some metallic minis and feather boas.
6. The Kardashian Sisters
Perfect your contouring and assemble your own Kardashian Klan. Bagsy Kris.
7. The Sanderson Sisters from The Witches of Eastwick
An oldie but goldie and one guaranteed to make a fright, only if portrayed properly. We're talking warts, snaggletooth and all.
8. The girls from The Craft
Witches don't come much cooler than the girls from The Craft. Grab the crucifixes, load of of lower-lash liner and brown lippy, and you're good to go.
9. Cher, Dionne and Tai from Clueless
As if we need an excuse to dress up as the girls from Clueless. Dig out your alice bands and plenty of plaid to channel the trio.
10. Dylan, Natalie and Alex from Charlie's Angels
The re-make brought Destiny's Child's Independent Women into the world, so what could be better?
11. The Spice Girls
Does this even need explaining?
12. The Scream Queens
You can basically get away with a pink dress. Cheap and cheerful. Don't forget your scowl.
